Five Dollar Mania Takes Over Mohegan Sun

Tuesday, March 24th, 2009

Additional low limit tables now available in a variety of games including Spanish 21, Roulette and Texas Hold’em

Mohegan Sun continues its special ‘stimulus, recovery and rebound’ efforts by adding more $5.00 tables to its mix of over 300 table games. In February, the Northeast’s premier entertainment destination introduced six low-limit blackjack tables, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, as part of its overall ‘stimulus, recovery and rebound’ getaway package.

“We are excited to expand our affordable low-limit table games offerings,” said Mitchell Etess, President and Chief Executive Officer for Mohegan Sun. “We had such a favorable response from our guests on our new $5.00 blackjack tables that we decided to add more games in a variety of styles so that more of our guests could enjoy their time spent with the low-limit bets.”

The twelve new low-limit denomination games will join the existing $5.00 minimum bet blackjack tables in Casino of the Earth, between Seasons Buffet and Sunrise Square.

The mix of new tables will include seven additional blackjack, two Spanish 21 tables, one Texas Hold’em game, a roulette table and one big 6 wheel, bringing the total number of $5.00 minimum bet games to 18.

The new low-limit gaming area is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week including all major holidays. For more information on this new offering, or others available at Mohegan Sun, please visit mohegansun.com.
