Lady Gaga Hosts The Monster Ball Tour At Mohegan Sun

Live in the Arena on Monday, January 18th

Pop superstar Lady Gaga will be performing live at Mohegan Sun Arena on Monday, January 18th at 7:30pm.  The Monster Ball Tour will feature support from special guests Kid Cudi and Jason Derülo.

Tickets are just $59.50 and $49.50 and go on sale Friday, November 13th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster.  Ticketmaster customers may log on to ticketmaster.com; call Ticketmaster’s national toll free Charge by Phone number 1.800.745.3000; or visit any Ticketmaster outlet.  Tickets may also be purchased at the Mohegan Sun Box Office starting Saturday, November 14th, subject to availability.

The flamboyant songstress released The Fame, her major-label debut, last summer.  The album peaked at #4 on The Billboard 200 and spawned two hit singles, “Just Dance” and “Poker Face.” Two more tracks, “Paparazzi” and “LoveGame,” charted at #5 and #6 respectively on The Billboard Hot 100.  Earlier this month, Lady Gaga revealed plans to release an expanded version of the album, re-christened The Fame Monster.  The revamped set includes eight new songs and is slated to hit stores November 23rd.

Kid Cudi’s debut album, Man On The Moon: The End of Day, was released earlier this year and spawned the hit singles “Day ‘N’ Nite” and “Make Her Say.”  Earlier this year, he was nominated for the BET Award, “Best New Artist” and the song “Day ‘N’ Nite” was nominated for the MTV Video Music Award, “Best New Artist.”

Miami native Jason Derülo’s music career began with his debut single, “Whatcha Say” which was released in May 2009.  The song debuted at #54 on The Billboard Hot 100 and hit #1 shortly thereafter.  Derülo is currently working on his debut album, which is set for release in early 2010.

Mohegan Sun thanks enlisted and retired servicemen and women with exclusive discounts for Mohegan Sun Arena, the hotel at Mohegan Sun and Veterans Day-only offers in  several dining and shopping outlets. With military identification, enlisted and active military members can take advantage of the following:

Mohegan Sun Arena is offering a military discount to nine select shows in November and December. Enlisted or retired servicemen and women should visit the Mohegan Sun Box Office to redeem their half-priced tickets.  This offer is valid through December 17th, and subject to availability.

Bowzer is back again hosting the Ultimate Doo-Wop Party Volume IX in Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday, January 17th.  The show begins at 3:00pm.
