Restaurant Week Returns to Mohegan Sun September 14th – 19th

UNCASVILLE, CT (August 11, 2014) – Enjoy a week of specialty menus and dining deals during Restaurant Week at Mohegan Sun. Many of the restaurants at Mohegan Sun have prepared exciting courses paired with great deals in celebration of Restaurant Week.

Ballo Italian Restaurant
Throughout Restaurant Week, Ballo Italian Restaurant will be featuring a three-course dinner for just $29.95 from 4:00pm to close. The signature meal includes your choice of antipasti from their Classic Caesar Salad, the meatballs with pomodoro and ricotta or arugula with shaved parmigiano, pine nuts and lemon. For secondi, choose from Rigatoni in a spicy sausage ragu with pecorino fonduta, Chicken Parmigiana in a house pomodoro topped with mozzarella and basil, Salmon accompanied by charred broccolini and toasted almonds in a blood orange vinaigrette, or Skirt Steak paired with grilled corn and an herb crema ($10.00 supplement). Finish the unforgettable meal off with Ballo’s delicious Kahlua and Dark Chocolate Espresso Cannoli.

Hash House A Go Go celebrates Restaurant Week at Mohegan Sun with buy one, get one burgers.

From September 14th through the 19th, for just $17.99 per person, plus tax and gratuity, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville is serving up a scrumptious specialty dinner! On the menu is Buttermilk Fried Chicken Breast served with Yukon gold mashed potatoes, green beans and chicken gravy. If you’ve saved room, indulge in a warm dark chocolate brownie, complete with vanilla ice cream, chocolate fudge and whipped cream.

Michael Jordan’s Steak House
Michael Jordan’s Steak House is serving a slam dunk meal in honor of Restaurant Week. The $49.00 per person, three-course meal begins with guest’s selection of either a Classic Caesar Salad or Lobster and Fingerling Potato Chowder. For the main course, a Prime Sirloin Steak with wild mushrooms in a Dijon mustard, along with your choice of Yukon gold mashed potatoes or Scottish Salmon with Heirloom Tomato and Cornbread Puree. For dessert, Michael Jordan’s Steak House is offering White Chocolate Bread Pudding accompanied by seasonal berries or a choice of their daily sorbet selection.

SolToro Tequila Grill
The deals continue at SolToro Tequila Grill, where a $23.00 per person, three-course meal is being offered. Enjoy their house made chips and then sink your teeth into their chicken taquitos to get things started. The second course is diner’s choice of enchiladas or a chicken or beef burrito. For dessert, choose between a brownie sundae with cinnamon ice cream, caramel, chocolate sauce and whipped cream or a SolToro flan with house made caramel sauce.

The Restaurants of Mohegan Sun offer a week of discounts and specials

Calling all foodies! Prepare for a week of delicious deals and special menus as the Restaurants at Mohegan Sun celebrate Restaurant Week from January 12th through the 17th. Diners can also enjoy 20% off at Bobby Flay’s Bar Americain, Todd English’s Tuscany, Bobby’s Burger Palace and Seasons Buffet all week long.

The participating restaurants and their specials from January 12th – 17th include:

BALLO Italian Restaurant

Each night throughout Restaurant Week, BALLO Italian Restaurant will be offering a 3-course dinner special for $29.95 per person. The meal starts with a choice of antipasti options which includes either a Classic Caesar Salad with arugula, shaved parmigiano, pine nuts and lemon or a Mixed Green Salad with mozzarella, sweet peppers and white balsamic vinaigrette. Secondi options include four choices of Rigatoni with spicy sausage ragu and pecorino fonduta, Chicken Parmigiana with house pomodoro, mozzarella and basil, Salmon with charred broccolini, toasted almond and blood orange vinaigrette or a 14 oz. NY Strip a la Pizzaiola ($10 supplement). For dessert BALLO will serve a Kahlua and Dark Chocolate Espresso Cannoli.

Hash House A Go Go

Hash House A Go Go will celebrate Restaurant Week with both lunch and dinner specials throughout the week. The lunch for two special will be $25 for two from Noon until 4:00pm and include two House Salads with cucumber ranch dressing, a choice of two entrées including stuffed burgers, The Kokomo or the Pub Crawl Sandwich with French fries and a shared dessert of delicious House made Pumpkin Bread Pudding. The dinner for two special will be $35 for two and run from 5:00pm until 10:00pm. The dinner special includes a shared appetizer of Filet of Beef Tenderloin and Polenta, the choice of two entrees including the Meatloaf, Lemon Chicken or Grilled Pork Tenderloin dinner and a shared dessert of delicious House made Pumpkin Bread Pudding. Both specials include a soft drink, coffee or tea.

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

Enjoy a free small soda or drip coffee with any dozen donuts purchased at Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.

The Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House

Savor in some of Mum’s Meatloaf with mashed potatoes, green beans and gravy for only $15. Served all day until 10:00pm.

Jasper White’s Summer Shack

Jasper White’s Summer Shack will be offering a 4-course tasting menu for $30 per person as well as a wine pairing with three courses for an additional $15 per person.

Michael Jordan’s Steak House

Michael Jordan’s Steak House is offering a three-course meal for $45 per person (plus tax and gratuity). First course includes a choice between a Caesar Salad with romaine hearts, croutons and shaved parmesan or Roasted Heirloom Tomato Soup with pecorino cheese, heirloom baby tomato and micro basil. For the second course, guests can select from a Northeast Family Farm Ribeye (10 oz.) with gourmet mushrooms and red wine demi glaze or Nueski Bacon Crusted Swordfish (5 oz.) with sautéed spinach, lemon zest and lobster broth. Third course offers a choice between Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée, Cranberry Biscotti or an assortment of Sorbets (your selection of three).

From January 6th – 11th, take advantage of great dining specials at some of the best restaurants on property

Make it a New Year’s resolution to stop eating at the same places and come discover a new favorite spot at    Mohegan Sun during their fourth Restaurant Week!  From January 6th to 11th, restaurants all across the property will be featuring some of their best dishes at great prices.

Check out these great deals at Mohegan Sun during Restaurant Week:

Stop by two of the newest restaurants at Mohegan Sun, Hash House A Go Go and The Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House, for Restaurant Week specials that will have you coming back for more.  At Hash House A Go Go, enjoy a featured dish of Hash House Sage Fried Chicken and Waffles.  This unique offering includes two Sage Fried Chicken Breasts atop a Bacon Waffle tower with hot Maple Reduction and Fried Leeks for only $12.95.

Then head upstairs to The Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House where Irish specials are featured on the menu all week long!  On Sunday for $16.00 per person, traditional Irish Roast with Roasted Potatoes and Vegetables will be served. For Monday’s menu at $12.00 per person, enjoy a Battered Sausage supper with Fries and Batchelors Beans.  Tuesday is serving up Baked Irish Ham with Boiled Potatoes, Braised Cabbage and Mustard for $14.00 per person then Wednesday’s dish is a Roast Turkey dinner with Mashed Potatoes, daily Vegetables and Gravy for $16.00 per person.  On Thursday, Oven Roast Leg of Lamb with Roasted Potatoes, daily Vegetable and Mint Lamb Sauce is on the menu for $21.00 per person then Friday, grab a Fried Seafood platter including Whitefish, Shrimp and Scallops, Housemade Fries, Tartar Sauce and Coleslaw for $21.00 per person.  Then finish off the week on Saturday with a Prime Rib dinner for $21.00 per person.

Over at Ballo Italian Restaurant & Social Club, enjoy a 4-course dinner beginning with an Antipasti of Prosciutto, Parmigiano and Ricotta Stuffed Peppers.  Next, enjoy some pasta with Orecchiette, Broccoli Rabe Pesto, Pine Nuts and Cherry Tomatoes.  Then, move on to the Secondi course where Scallops and Scampi, Polenta, Sopressata and Red Pepper are featured.  Finally, top off your meal with a Housemade Cannoli.  This special will be offered at $29.95 per person (plus tax) from 4:00pm to close, January 7th – 11th only.

Michael Jordan’s 23.sportcafe is celebrating Restaurant Week with a meal for just $20.13 per person (plus tax)!  Start with your choice of Caesar Salad with Parmesan Croutons.  A House Salad with Tomato, Onion and Balsamic Dressing or the featured soup for an appetizer.  Then choose an entrée from a list including Penne and Blackened Chicken, Broccoli, Tomatoes and Alfredo Sauce, a 23.Burger with choice of Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion and French Fries, or Beer Battered Fish & Chips with Housemade Tartar Sauce.

If you are in the mood for something a bit fancier, Michael Jordan’s Steak House is also participating in Restaurant Week.  Also for only $20.13 per person, start off with either a Classic Caesar Salad with shaved Parmesan and Garlic Croutons or a House Salad with Tomato, Onion, Baby Lettuce and Balsamic Vinaigrette.  Then move on to an entrée of Hanger Steak with Caramelized Onions, Shoestring Potatoes and Pinot Noir Sauce and Creamed Spinach with a Parmesan crust.

Go south of the border with lunch or dinner at SolToro Tequila Grill in Casino of the Sky, offering a 3-course meal for $20.13 per person (plus tax) and each meal comes with Housemade Chips and Salsa.  Start your meal with your choice of appetizer including Mixed Greens with Grapes, Mango, Cucumber, Tomatoes, Pickled Red Onion, Queso Fresco, Spicy Candied Walnuts, Toasted Pumpkin Seeds and Balsamic-Habanero Vinaigrette or Queso Fundido with Monterey Jack, Housemade Chorizo, fire-roasted Poblano Chili, Onion and Oregano, served with Corn Tortillas.  Then move on to your choice of entrée of either an Enchilada with your choice of Cheese, Chicken a la Mexicana or Mushroom and Spinach or a Burrito with your choice of Chicken a la Mexicana or Beef Picadillo.  Finish your meal with your choice of either a Chipotle Brownie with Cinnamon Ice Cream, Caramel, Chocolate Sauce and Whipped Cream or Housemade SolToro Flan with Caramel sauce.
