Kenny Chesney’s Last Four Of 2017

Monday, April 10th, 2017

Final 2017 shows presented by Blue Chair Bay Rum on sale April 14th; 2 shows in the Northeast, 2 shows in the South

UNCASVILLE, CT (April 10, 2017) – With a second Gillette Stadium show added and close to sold-out, the hunger for that live Kenny Chesney summer experience is pronounced. Though there’s a handful of festival plays on the calendar for this year, Chesney announces four more intimate shows to round out his 2017 live schedule: Tuscaloosa Amphitheater on August 4th and The Wharf Amphitheatre in Orange Beach, AL on August 5th, followed by two nights at Mohegan Sun Arena on Thursday, August 10th and Friday, August 11th. Both Mohegan Sun shows are presented by Blue Chair Bay Rum and will begin at 7:30pm.

Tickets are $125.00 & $95.00 and go on sale Friday, April 14th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster.  Ticketmaster customers may log on to ticketmaster.com or call Ticketmaster’s national toll free Charge By Phone number 1.800.745.3000.  Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office starting Saturday, April 15th, subject to availability.

“As long as we’re rehearsing and I’ve got new music in the pipeline, I can’t imagine not playing a little bit,” says Chesney. “I know that it takes time off to create and make records… to write and find songs like “American Kids” and “Noise,” but that doesn’t mean I don’t miss the fans. There is nothing that feeds me more than hearing the sound of the No Shoes Nation singing these songs, seeing those faces and knowing this is gonna be one of those nights.”

Having closed 2016’s Spread the Love Tour with 121,399 cheering New Englanders at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA, along with hitting the half-million mark at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey’s Meadowlands, Chesney had one of his biggest touring years – despite playing fewer dates than he has in previous years. As he says of those shows, “I can still hear the crowds when I close my eyes at night. Just when I think it can’t get any bigger or louder, the No Shoes Nation comes at me with these songs, singing and cheering and showing me how much life we can live in three minutes.”

Mohegan Sun Arena is now ranked consistently among the top venues in the world according to Billboard Magazine, Pollstar and Venues Today. Jason Aldean Returns To The Road With They Don’t Know Tour

Friday, January 13th, 2017

Special guests Chris Young, Kane Brown and Dee Jay Silver will lend support

UNCASVILLE, CT (January 13, 2017) – RIAA’s top digital Country male artist of all time Jason Aldean makes plans to return to the road as he announces today details for his They Don’t Know Tour kicking off in April.  Named after the only Country album to claim the top spot on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart in 2016 that’s “packed with stadium-size songs and arena-ready hooks” (The Boston Globe), the multi-platinum entertainer is sure to bring that same energy to the stage while boasting support from special guests Chris Young, Kane Brown and Dee Jay Silver.  The tour will be live at Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, May 19th & Saturday, May 20th.  Both shows will begin at 7:30pm.

Tickets are $99.00 and $79.00 and go on sale Friday, January 20th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster customers may log on to ticketmaster.com or call Ticketmaster’s national toll free Charge By Phone number 1.800.745.3000.  Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office beginning on Saturday, January 21st, subject to availability.

In addition to the new tour, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum announced today that a special exhibit honoring Aldean will open its doors on May 27th, commemorating his wide-open sound that has been one of the defining influences on today’s Country music. “Country music’s hard-rocking everyman” is “the mirror image of his fans” (Rolling Stone) as his recent album They Don’t Know follows on the heels of each album release earning platinum certification or better, tallying more than 14 million total album sales and 18 #1 hits. The longevity of his career reached new heights as he debuted at the #1 position on Billboard’s all-genre Top 200 Album chart for the third consecutive time with his seventh studio album, which has already produced two consecutive chart-toppers. The ACM “Entertainer of the Year” incorporates his traditional roots into his nostalgic single “Any Ol’ Barstool,” as it serves as “a throwback to the early music that helped catapult Aldean into the spotlight more than a decade ago” (Forbes).
