Make Dad feel like a king for a day with gourmet dishes, shopping and spa specials offered throughout the property this Father’s Day

The day to show Dad appreciation is near and what better way to say “thank you’’ than with a gourmet meal or a gift he will remember at Mohegan Sun? A variety of specials will be featured throughout the property on June 20th including:

Todd English’s Tuscany will celebrate Father’s Day with their delicious chef’s tasting. Diners will begin with a Caprese Salad tossed with Heirloom Tomatoes, Fresh Basil and Burrata Cheese. The second course will consist of Veal Ravioli with Thyme Mushroom Cream. Next, Petit Filet with Seared Foie Gras and Horseradish Silk Potatoes. Topping off the meal will be a Strawberry Rhubarb Napoleon dish with Cardamom Cream for dessert. The special is offered at $50.00 per person from 4:00pm to 10:00pm and will be offered at $85.00 per person with wine pairings.

Birches Bar & Grill will prepare a three-course meal beginning with a choice of Soup or House Salad and then a Roast Prime Rib of Beef served with Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Asparagus Spears and Horseradish Cream. For dessert, a seven layered Caramel Mousse Bomb with Chocolate covered pretzel pieces will be prepared. The meal will be offered at $24.95 per person from noon until midnight.

Michael Jordan’s Steak House will serve dinner from 5:00pm to 11:00pm and guests can feast on a King Cut 20-ounce Prime Rib Steak served with Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Rosemary Demi Glace and a Sundried Tomatoes and Mushroom Skewer for $35.00 per person. Michael Jordan’s 23.sportcafe will prepare a delicious 20-ounce Prime Rib served with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Rosemary Demi Glace for $32.00 per person.

Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville will have Dad in paradise with a special meal consisting of an 8-ounce Rib Eye Steak topped with Blue Cheese and Tequila Lime Shrimp with Vegetables for $24.95. Additionally, every Dad will receive two complimentary scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream topped with Oreo Cookie Crumbles, Whipped Cream and a Cherry for dessert.

Big Bubba’s BBQ will honor Father’s Day with a Prime Rib dinner which will include a Twice-Baked Potato and an additional side for $22.95.

Diners will begin with a Fingerling Salad tossed with Roasted Leeks and Roquefort Cheese, Pan-Roasted Swordfish with Horseradish Mashed Potatoes, Wood-Grilled Filet Mignon with Three-Onion Barlotto and topping off the meal will be a Signature Fallen Chocolate Cake. The special is offered at $60.00 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm.

Michael Jordan’s Steak House will serve dinner from 3:00pm to 11:00pm and guests can feast on a variety of dishes including: BBQ Baby Back Ribs with Chipotle Corn and Mashed Potatoes for $24.00; Roast Prime Rib Au Jus for $22.00; Grilled Hanger Steak with Wild Mushrooms and Sautéed Onions for $24.00; or Roast Rack of Lamb with Muddled Berries and Mint for $30.00. The Longhouse will offer a Bone-In Roast Prime Rib, Asparagus and Wild Mushroom Sauté with Pan-Fried New Potatoes and Fresh Herbs for $50.00 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm.

Bamboo Forest will serve a Wok-Seared Steak topped with Black Bean Shrimp and a side of Baby Bok Choy for $45.00 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm.

Birches Bar & Grill will prepare a three-course meal beginning with a choice of Soup or House Salad and then a Full Rack of Ribs served with French Fries, Coleslaw and Corn on the Cob. For dessert, a “Mac the Nut Sandwich” consisting of White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies with a half pound of Banana Rum Ice Cream with Special Sauce, Whipped Cream and a Cherry. The meal will be offered at $25.00 from 11:00am to 11:00pm.

A special Father’s Day brunch menu will be offered from 11:00am to 3:00pm at Michael Jordan’s 23.sportcafe.
