Performance in the Arena on Thursday, November 19th

Southern Rock legends Lynyrd Skynyrd will be returning to Mohegan Sun Arena for the second time in 2009 when they take the stage on Thursday, November 19th at 7:30pm.

Tickets are $65.00 and $45.00 and go on sale Friday, September 11th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster.  Ticketmaster customers may log on to ticketmaster.com; call Ticketmaster’s national toll free Charge by Phone number 1.800.745.3000; or visit any Ticketmaster outlet.  Tickets may also be purchased at the Mohegan Sun Box Office starting Saturday, September 12th subject to availability.

Lynyrd Skynyrd, the definitive Southern Rock band, is sure to play some of their epic hits such as “Free Bird,” “Tuesday’s Gone” and the classic anthems “Sweet Home Alabama” and “Gimme Three Steps.”  Today, the band consists of Johnny Van Zant, Gary Rossington, Robert Kearns, Peter Keys, Rickey Medlocke, Michael Cartellone and Mark “Sparky” Matejka.  Lynyrd Skynyrd was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006 and is set to release their latest album God and Guns in late September.
