Rock Opera icon to perform in Arena on October 27th
Actor and singer Meat Loaf brings his iconic sound to Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, October 27th at 8:00pm.
Tickets are $30.00 and go on sale Friday, August 17th through Ticketmaster at 10:00am. Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office starting Saturday, August 18th, subject to availability.
Meat Loaf, whose 1977 breakout album Bat Out Of Hell defined the Arena Rock genre and remains as one of the world’s top 5 selling albums of all-time, with more than 43 million copies sold to date, is excited about his new album Hell In A Handbasket. It’s a thematic record that easily crosses any number of genres, featuring such unlikely contributors as rappers Chuck D and Lil Jon, Country star Trace Adkins and Sugar Ray’s Mark McGrath.

In honor of Armed Forces Day on Saturday, May 15th, Mohegan Sun will be offering discounted tickets to enlisted and retired members of the military. For one week only, from 10:00am on Saturday, May 15th through 10:00pm on Saturday, May 22nd, select half priced tickets (while supplies last) to the following shows will be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office:
• Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons – Friday, May 28th ($30.00 ticket for $15.00)
• Yes & Peter Frampton – Wednesday, June 16th ($35.00 tickets for $17.50)
• REO Speedwagon & Pat Benatar with special guest Keaton Simons – Thursday, June 24th ($35.00 tickets for $17.50)
• Meat Loaf with special guest Lisa Bouchelle– Monday, July 12th ($42.00 tickets for $21.00)
• Santana with special guest Steve Winwood – Wednesday, July 21st ($65.50 tickets for $32.75)
Tickets must be purchased in person at the Mohegan Sun Box Office. A military I.D. must be presented in order to receive the discount. Offer is not valid on previously purchased tickets. Additional fees may apply.
Additionally, on Saturday May 15th only, Lucky’s Lounge and The Dubliner will be offering enlisted and retired members of the armed forces a 20% discount on food purchases – a military I.D. must be presented in order to receive the discount. Uniformed members of the armed forces can also enjoy a 15% discount on any purchase at Geno’s Fast Break.

Theatrical rocker will perform live in the Arena on Monday, July 12th
Legendary performer Meat Loaf will be spending some time on the road this summer, stopping at Mohegan Sun for a performance in the Arena on Monday, July 12th at 7:30pm.

Hang Cool Teddy Bear, the musician’s 11th studio effort, will hit shelves May 11th. Meat Loaf worked with producer Rob Cavallo on the set, which features guest appearances by Jack Black, Hugh Laurie, Kara DioGuardi and Steve Vai.
The new material was inspired by the 1970 film Beyond the Valley of the Dolls and named for a line in the movie.
