Special offers extended to the Nations most deserving guests in honor of Veterans Day at Mohegan Sun

Mohegan Sun thanks enlisted and retired servicemen and women with exclusive discounts for Mohegan Sun Arena, the hotel at Mohegan Sun and Veterans Day-only offers in  several dining and shopping outlets. With military identification, enlisted and active military members can take advantage of the following:

Mohegan Sun Arena:

Mohegan Sun Arena is offering a military discount to nine select shows in November and December. Enlisted or retired servicemen and women should visit the Mohegan Sun Box Office to redeem their half-priced tickets.  This offer is valid through December 17th, and subject to availability.

The military discount will apply to the following shows:

• Larry The Cable Guy on November 13th
• Lynyrd Skynyrd on November 19th
• 311 on November 22nd
• The Beach Boys on November 29th
• Rob Zombie on December 3rd
• Kenny Rogers on December 5th
• Albano’s Nutcracker on December 12th and 13th
• Boston Pops on December 17th

In order to qualify for the military discount, tickets must be purchased at the Mohegan Sun Box Office and purchasers must show valid military identification. Applicable facility fees will apply to half-priced tickets; discount applies to lowest ticket price. Purchases are limited to six per person.

Hotel at Mohegan Sun:

Mohegan Sun invites military service members to enjoy special discount hotel rates on select dates through September 2010 as part of its Friends of Mohegan Sun program.

On available dates, military service members can lock in an exclusive $99.00 per night rate for a standard room and can upgrade to a one-bedroom suite at an additional $100.00 per night.

Upon check-in, guests must provide appropriate military identification.

Larry The Cable Guy will meet fans following his show in Mohegan Sun Arena on November 13th

Spin Street and Mohegan Sun welcome stand-up comedian and actor, Larry The Cable Guy, for a special appearance and signing  event of  his latest release Tailgate Party. This free personal appearance and signing will take place on the Spin Street Stage in The Shops at Mohegan Sun immediately following his performance in Mohegan Sun Arena on November 13th at 8:00pm.  All Signings & Sightings are free and open to the public. 

ABOUT THE ARTIST

With his cry of “Git-R-Done!” and “Lord, I Apologize,” Larry The Cable Guy has sold out theatres and arenas across the United States.  His new comedy CD, Tailgate Party, debuted at #1 on the comedy chart and came in #70 on the Pop Top 200 Billboard charts.
