“I always love being on the road performing for my fans,” shares Underwood, “but something about this tour feels more magnetic than ever. Having a 360-degree view of the audience gives me the opportunity to connect with more fans and feed off their energy. I can’t wait to continue this tour into the fall!”

Concert review critics have applauded Underwood’s confidence and command over the massive stage that spans the entire length of the arena floor. The Washington Post claimed she’s “at the top of her game,” and the Hampton Daily Press said the show’s “presentation is overwhelming, from start to finish- a spectacular sensory overload that had the crowd roaring all night long.” Rollingstonecountry.com praised “the in-the-round setting provides each concertgoer with the best experience possible. Simpler still is the storytelling aspect of the show and Country music’s reliance on conveying memorable stories in song.” The Boston Globe stated, Underwood “demonstrated that she now truly can stare unflinchingly into those lights and dominate a stage, with a confidence, defiance and a sense of ownership that have been a treat to watch come to fruition. A rock-solid, deftly sequenced hour-and-45-minue long set, which moved from playful to solemn, smooth to twangy, and from cinematic scope to smaller, intimate moments. The most stunning part of the production however, remains Underwood’s voice, strong and nuanced.”

The North American tour, promoted by AEG Live, will include special guests Easton Corbin and The Swon Brothers.

Carrie will continue a donation of $1 from each ticket sold at the U.S. dates of The Storyteller Tour to be contributed to the C.A.T.S Foundation to help aid its causes including Checotah, Oklahoma’s education and literacy programs. Established in 2009, the C.A.T.S. (Checotah Animal, Town, and School) Foundation helps with general causes, needs, and services in the area of Checotah, Oklahoma, Carrie’s hometown, to directly impact the community.

Neal Schon (founding member and lead guitarist), Ross Valory (co-founder and bassist), and longtime members Jonathan Cain (keyboardist) and Arnel Pineda (lead singer), are welcoming virtuoso drummer Steve Smith back into JOURNEY, marking the first time he will perform with the band since 1998.  Schon’s musical career began at the age of 15, when he debuted with Santana as a guitar prodigy on the #1 album, Santana III. Since Arnel Pineda joined JOURNEY as its new lead singer in 2007, the band has released two albums and embarked on seven major tours, performing on four continents for more than five million fans, earning the group Billboard’s prestigious “Legend of Live Award.”

2015 was another milestone year for JOURNEY, including a three week, sold-out residency at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada; a sold-out Hollywood Bowl concert for the opening night of the Bowl’s 2015 Season, accompanied by the 120-piece Hollywood Bowl Orchestra; and an extensive, sold-out Canadian tour.  JOURNEY recently announced its upcoming “SAN FRANCISCO FEST 2016” tour with The Doobie Brothers and special guest Dave Mason, which launches on Thursday, May 12th, 2016 in Irvine, California and runs through Tuesday, August 30, 2016.

For forty years and as many albums later, Santana has sold more than 100 million records and reached more than 100 million fans at concerts worldwide. To date, Santana has won ten GRAMMY® Awards and three Latin GRAMMY® Awards. He won a record-tying nine GRAMMYs for a single project for 1999’s Supernatural (including “Album of the Year” and “Record of the Year” for “Smooth”) as well as three Latin GRAMMY’s. He has also received the Billboard Century Award (1996), was ushered into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (1998), received the Billboard Latin Music Awards’ Lifetime Achievement honor (2009) and was the recipient of the Kennedy Center Honors Award (2013). Among many other honors, Carlos Santana has been cited by Rolling Stone as #15 on their list of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.” And, with the 2014 release of Corazón, Santana surpassed the Rolling Stones and is one of only two music acts in Billboard history to score at least one Top Ten album for six consecutive decades from the 1960s on.

April 15, 2016 marks the release date of Santana IV, the wildly anticipated studio album that reunites the revered early ‘70s lineup of guitar icon Carlos Santana (guitar, vocals), Gregg Rolie (keyboards, lead vocals), Neal Schon (guitar, vocals), Michael Carabello (percussion) and Michael Shrieve (drums). Santana IV features 16 all-new tracks written and produced by the band that burst with the same unparalleled energy and superlative musicianship that made Santana a pioneering force in world music and a household name across the globe.

Santana is currently headlining a multi-year residency at House of Blues at Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas. In the fall of 2014, Carlos Santana released his memoir The Universal Tone: Bringing My Story to Light. It’s a profoundly inspiring tale of spiritual commitment and musical fearlessness that does not balk at finding the humor in the world of high-flying fame, nor at speaking plainly of Santana’s personal revelations and the divine and infinite possibility he sees in each person he meets.
