In honor of Armed Forces Day on Saturday, May 15th, Mohegan Sun will be offering discounted tickets to enlisted and retired members of the military. For one week only, from 10:00am on Saturday, May 15th through 10:00pm on Saturday, May 22nd, select half priced tickets (while supplies last) to the following shows will be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office:
• Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons – Friday, May 28th ($30.00 ticket for $15.00)
• Yes & Peter Frampton – Wednesday, June 16th ($35.00 tickets for $17.50)
• REO Speedwagon & Pat Benatar with special guest Keaton Simons – Thursday, June 24th ($35.00 tickets for $17.50)
• Meat Loaf with special guest Lisa Bouchelle– Monday, July 12th ($42.00 tickets for $21.00)
• Santana with special guest Steve Winwood – Wednesday, July 21st ($65.50 tickets for $32.75)
Tickets must be purchased in person at the Mohegan Sun Box Office. A military I.D. must be presented in order to receive the discount. Offer is not valid on previously purchased tickets. Additional fees may apply.
Additionally, on Saturday May 15th only, Lucky’s Lounge and The Dubliner will be offering enlisted and retired members of the armed forces a 20% discount on food purchases – a military I.D. must be presented in order to receive the discount. Uniformed members of the armed forces can also enjoy a 15% discount on any purchase at Geno’s Fast Break.

Live performance in the Arena with special guest Steve Winwood
Carlos Santana’s Universal Tone Tour 2010 gets underway on June 30th with an initial North American leg running through early August. Carlos and the Santana Band will be joined on the road by special guest Steve Winwood, who will open the dates. The tour will be making a stop at Mohegan Sun Arena on Wednesday, July 21st at 7:00pm.
Tickets are $85.50 and $65.50 and go on sale Saturday, April 17th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster customers may log on to ticketmaster.com; call Ticketmaster’s national toll free Charge By Phone number 1.800.745.3000; or visit any Ticketmaster outlet. Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office beginning on Sunday, April 18th, subject to availability.
The Universal Tone Tour 2010 will feature hits from Santana’s four-decade-long career as well as songs from a brand-new studio album that Carlos Santana is currently putting finishing touches on. Santana’s most recent release was the 2010 reissue of Supernatural as a 2-CD Legacy Edition—featuring eleven previously-unissued bonus tracks—in celebration of the classic nine-time Grammy-winning album’s 10th anniversary.
Steve Winwood’s latest studio effort, Nine Lives, released in 2008, was his first solo album since 2003’s About Time. The set debuted at #12 on The Billboard 200 chart, selling about 26,000 copies during its first week in stores.
