Shinedown, along with Chevelle, Puddle of Mudd, Sevendust and 10 Years, will help launch the first Carnival of Madness tour this summer, which will be live at Mohegan Sun Arena on Wednesday, August 4th at 7:00pm.
All tickets are just $35.00 and go on sale Saturday, May 15th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster customers may log onto ticketmaster.com; call Ticketmaster’s national toll free Charge by Phone number 1.800.745.3000; or visit any Ticketmaster outlet. Shinedown continues to support their third studio album, 2008’s The Sound of Madness, which debuted at #8 on The Billboard 200 upon release. The set, produced by Grammy-winner Rob Cavallo (Green Day, Kid Rock), has spawned five singles, including mainstream-Rock chart-toppers “Devour” and “Second Chance.” The album’s latest single, “The Crow & The Butterfly,” is currently garnering airplay on Rock radio.
Chevelle is supporting last year’s Sci-Fi Crimes, the Illinois band’s fifth studio album. Puddle of Mudd’s most recent studio effort, Volume 4: Songs in the Key of Love & Hate, surfaced in December. Alt-Rock veterans Sevendust released their eighth studio album, Cold Day Memory, in April. The set marked the return to the fold of guitarist Clint Lowery, who left the band in 2003. Tennessee Alt-Metal outfit 10 Years is currently awaiting a release date for their latest studio effort, Feeding the Wolves, which was recorded earlier this spring.
Mohegan Sun Arena is ranked the 4th best venue by Billboard Magazine and was the 2008 recipient of a Country Music Award for “Casino of The Year.” For more information on concerts and other great events at Mohegan Sun, visit mohegansun.com.
