Kawel LauBach, former VP of Administration at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, to oversee HR operations at all MTGA properties
Mohegan Sun is pleased to announce the promotion of Kawel LauBach to Chief Human Resource Officer of the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority. Kawel boasts 20 years of combined operations and human resources experience, most recently holding the title of Vice President of Administration at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs.
In his new role, Kawel will be responsible for improving and developing uniform human resource and guest experience processes, improving operations of managed and owned properties and developing excellence in hiring practices.
Kawel received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University located just outside Nashville, Tennessee. He is greatly involved in the community having served on three separate non-profit boards supporting leadership, children and diversity. Kawel, his wife, Leslie, and their two children have relocated to the East Lyme area.

Former Senior Vice President with Revel Entertainment in Atlantic City, Lyndon Stockton, joins Mohegan Sun team

Mohegan Sun is pleased to announce Lyndon Stockton as the new Vice President of Player Development/New Markets. Lyndon has served in a variety of roles in the casino industry, most recently holding the title of Senior Vice President of Relationship Marketing & Resort Sales for Revel Entertainment in Atlantic City.
In his new role, Lyndon will help the Mohegan Sun team cultivate relationships with new players.
Lyndon received a bachelor’s degree at Upsala College. Since graduating in 1981, Lyndon has held positions with casino giants like Trump Plaza Hotel & Casino, Harrah’s Marina Hotel & Casino, Caesars World International Corp., Revel Entertainment, spending the majority of his career with Kerzner International (Atlantis Resort) on Paradise Island, Bahamas. In his down time, Lyndon enjoys traveling, cooking and sports.

Former Director of Compensation and Benefits, Jeff Hamilton, to begin his new responsibilities immediately

Mohegan Sun is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Jeff Hamilton to Vice President of Human Resources. Jeff has served in a variety of roles since starting at Mohegan Sun in 2004, most recently holding the title of Director of Compensation and Benefits.
In his new role, Jeff will be responsible for overseeing the development of customer service and skills training, administering all Human Resource company policies and procedures and providing direction and operational oversight for all Human Resource departments and functions.
Jeff received a bachelor’s degree at Seton Hall University and a master’s degree at the University of New Haven. He is a member of the Mohegan Tribe and has been part of organizations like the United Way and the Connecticut Adoption Resource Association during his time at Mohegan Sun.

Mohegan Sun is pleased to welcome Brian J. Bork as the new Chief Marketing Officer. Bork brings a wealth of
knowledge in Marketing, as well as over ten years of casino experience. Now as Chief Marketing Officer, Bork will lead and oversee all marketing, advertising and entertainment activities for Mohegan Sun.
Bork most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer for Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Marketing Strategy for MGM Resorts, Inc and before that he was Vice President of Marketing at MGM Resorts in Mississippi where he oversaw the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi and the Gold Strike Casino Resort in Tunica. He has also served as Vice President and Director of Marketing for multiple Harrah’s Entertainment locations from 2001 through 2006. In 2007, Bork and his team at Beau Rivage were awarded numerous accolades including “Best Print Campaign,” “Best Outdoor Campaign,” “Best Radio” and “Best Single Print,” as well as taking home 19 Mississippi Gulf Coast ADDYs in February of 2008.
Brian J. Bork is a graduate of Bradley University in Peoria, IL and later received his MBA at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. He also holds a MSIT from the University of Denver.

Mohegan Sun has promoted Christopher Friday to Senior Vice President of Information Systems and Chief
Information Officer. In this vital role, Friday will oversee the Information Systems division which includes the Systems Infrastructure and Engineering department, as well as the Customer and Application Services department.
Prior to his recent promotion, Friday was Vice President of Customer Relationship Management at Mohegan Sun where he oversaw the Database Marketing, Direct Marketing, VIP Services, Revenue Management and Market Research departments. From 2005 – 2009, Friday held the role of Director of Program Management at Mohegan Sun, where he managed the IS project portfolio, the information security organization, business continuity, technical training and the Project Management Office. He received his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and a master’s in business administration (MBA) from the F.W. Olin School of Business at Babson College in Wellesley, MA.
Christopher resides in North Stonington, CT with his wife Elizabeth, son Alexander and daughter Sophia.

Mohegan Sun is very pleased to announce that Dave Martinelli has been promoted to VP of Customer Relationship Management. This new position will drive synergies between Marketing Analysis, CRM, Revenue Management, VIP Services and Database Marketing.
Martinelli started out with Mohegan Sun in the Budgets department in the spring of 1999 after finishing his undergrad degree at Brown University. He was soon after promoted to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, where he served for four years. His career then took another big jump when he became the Business Manager for the Connecticut Sun WNBA team for one year. The very next transition came in the form of Director of Business Operations for Sports & Entertainment where he resided for four years. And before this current promotion, Martinelli served as the Director of Marketing Analysis.
Martinelli brings diverse experience, dedicated work ethic and strong leadership capabilities to Customer Relationship Management. He grew up in North Providence and currently resides in Coventry, Rhode Island with his wife Kerry and two sons, David and Daniel.
