Take Fundraising to New Heights During This One-of-a-Kind Rappelling Event on August 28th
UNCASVILLE, CT (July 16, 2026) – Registration is open for Special Olympics Connecticut’s Over the Edge fundraiser, hosted by Mohegan Sun, which will take place on Friday, August 28th. Participants are invited to take fundraising to new heights by rappelling more than 30 stories down Mohegan Sun’s iconic Sky Tower in support of year-round sports, health and fitness programs for nearly 14,000 athletes of all abilities across Connecticut. Whether making the descent or cheering from below, guests will be part of a one-of-a-kind event that brings courage, community and inclusion together in a bold way. Designed to complement the restaurant’s Jewelry Box and bold aesthetic, the large-scale artwork serves as a colorful backdrop for photos and a new visual landmark within Mohegan Sun.
