Mohegan Sun Arena Is #1 In Recent Mid-Summer Rankings
With a top-notch mid-Summer lineup that included the likes of Shania Twain, Def Leppard, Idina Menzel, Dancing With The Stars, John Fogerty and BareNaked Ladies, Mohegan Sun Arena earned the top stop in concert and event gross from June 16th through July 15th for all venue’s in the world, at capacities’ between 5,001 and 10,000 seats, as reported by industry trade publication, Venue’s Today.

The Weeknd Announces ‘The Madness Fall Tour’
Grammy Award®-nominated, multi-platinum selling artist The Weeknd today announced The Madness Fall Tour. Set to kick off on Tuesday, November 3rd in Toronto, Ontario, the Live Nation-produced tour will support the genre-spanning artist’s upcoming album, Beauty Behind The Madness, due out Friday, August 28th on XO/Republic Records. The North American arena tour spans 22 cities across the U.S. and Canada including New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Montreal, Atlanta, Miami, as well as a Saturday, November 14th concert at Mohegan Sun Arena.
America’s Favorite Summer Dance Series, Emmy Award-Winning So You Think You Can Dance, Hits Road For Its Season 12 Tour
So You Think You Can Dance, the 13-time Primetime Emmy® Award-winning show that sparked America’s fascination with dance, is set to captivate audiences again this fall – live on tour. Celebrating its momentous 12th season and its exciting new Stage v. Street format, So You Think You Can Dance’s Top 10 finalists will make their way across North America performing in 70 cities as part of the So You Think You Can Dance 12 Tour. Mohegan Sun Arena welcomes the stars for a Sunday, November 15th show, set for 7:30pm. The Season 12 tour lineup includes the following Top 10 finalists: Team Stage’s Gaby Diaz, Edson Juarez, Jim Nowakowski, Hailee Payne and Derek Piquette; and Team Street’s Megan “Megz” Alfonso, Eddie “Neptune” Eskridge, Virgil Gadson, Jessica “JJ” Rabone and Jana “Jaja” Vankova. So You Think You Can Dance airs Mondays (8:00-10:00pm ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.
