A night of comedy with America’s “foremost commentator on everything” on Saturday, July 18th
Lewis Black, host of Comedy Central’s hit show The Root of All Evil, returns to Mohegan Sun Arena for a night of stand-up comedy on Saturday, July 18th starting at 8:00pm.

Lewis Black has been ranting about the follies of American life and politics for several years now, becoming best known for his continuing visits to Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. His hysterically-funny observations have made him one of the most popular attractions on the stand-up comedy circuit, taking him from comedy clubs to Carnegie Hall. In 2008, Black released his latest CD, Anticipation.

Hilarious comedian performs in the Arena on April 25th & 26th
Fresh on the heels of the announcement of his Comedy Central special and comedy album, ISolated INcident, comedian Dane Cook has now announced plans to take his material on the road with the ‘ISolated INcident – Global Thermo Comedy Tour.’ Touted as the largest comedy tour in history, Cook will travel within the U.S., Canada, Africa, Brazil, Australia, U.K. and Germany. Cook is kicking off this massive tour with two shows at Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, April 25th and Sunday, April 26th. Saturday night’s show begins at 10:00pm and Sunday’s show begins at 7:00pm.
Tickets are $100.00, $75.00 and $50.00 and go on sale Monday, March 16th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. “Taking this new tour around the world is a desire I’ve wanted to fulfill for some time now, based on the tremendous response I received during the select few dates I have done internationally. To travel the globe and see beautiful places, while entertaining fans from every corner of the earth is massive. I promise tons of special surprises while looking forward to pushing myself very hard, performing around 100 shows over the next year, and in the process I hope to bank up some serious frequent flyer miles,” said Cook.
After proving his star power in front of a combined live crowd of 70,000 people with two highly-rated specials, Vicious Circle for HBO and Rough Around the Edges for Comedy Central, Cook has reinvented himself with ISolated INcident, where he shares his stand-up insights with a more intimate crowd. Now, he will once again entertain the masses in large venues on a worldwide scale.
Previously Cook created, directed and starred in HBO’s nine-part comedy documentary series, Tourgasm and wrote, executive produced and starred in Vicious Circle, a feature-length stand-up event. Additionally he has proved to be a strong force in the industry with his debut CD/DVD release, Harmful If Swallowed which has been certified platinum. His latest CD, Rough Around The Edges, recently hit gold status, and his sophomore release, Retaliation, debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 and has reached double platinum standing.

Comedian’s performance has been rescheduled for May 15th
Joel McHale announced today that he has rescheduled his April 3rd Mohegan Sun Arena show for Friday, May 15th at 8:00pm.

As the current host of E!’s enormously popular celebrity news show The Soup, Joel McHale got his start in show business back in the 90s as part of a sketch-comedy group in downtown Seattle. Since then McHale has been on such TV staples as CSI: Miami, Will & Grace, Pushing Daisies, a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Countdown with Keith Olbermann and on radio’s The Adam Carolla Show. Next up McHale is starring opposite Matt Damon and Scott Bakula in the Steven Soderbergh directed film The Informant.

Star and co-creator of FX’s hit drama Rescue Me, Denis Leary got his start in show biz as a stand-up comedian in Boston back in the early 80s. Leary has since been nominated as an actor for both a Golden Globe and an Emmy, and recently released his first book titled Why We Suck: A Feel Good Guide to Staying Fat, Loud, Lazy and Stupid.
