UNCASVILLE, CT (February 27, 2025) – Mohegan Sun is set to ramp up the shenanigans this St. Patrick’s Day and offer Irish-inspired food, drink, and retail specials at various venues across property. Guests can also head over to The Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House for some can’t-miss live entertainment starting at Noon. All specials are offered Monday, March 17th unless otherwise specified.
Along with the exhilarating live entertainment, The Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House is set to feature a special Corned Beef & Cabbage Spring Rolls appetizer for $17, which is made of corned beef, cabbage, carrots and Swiss cheese, and served with Thousand Island dressing on the side. For an entrée, guests can enjoy the Irish Trio for $36 which consists of Shepherd’s Pie, corned beef & cabbage, and banger sausage served with soda bread.
At Todd English’s Tuscany, guests can enjoy House-Made Wagyu Corned Beef, served with salt-cured potatoes, honey-glazed carrots and a cabbage béchamel. The drink special is a Shamrock Shake, made with Irish pot de crème and green matcha popcorn with a bourbon glaze.
Hash House A Go Go is getting in on the St. Patrick’s Day festivities with featured food and drink specials. Options include Corned Beef Hash Breakfast Tacos for $17.99, which consist of finely chopped corned beef and red potatoes on warm corn tortillas, topped with cheddar scrambled eggs and pico de gallo, and served with crispy potatoes, sour cream and homemade spicy green sauce or a Leprechaun Flapjack for $12.99, which is a delicious green pancake, topped with rich cream cheese frosting and a sprinkle of Leprechaun dust (green sugar). Guests can also sip on either a Shamrock Sparkle for $6.99, which is a lucky blend of sweet kiwi, zesty lime, and a Starry sparkle, or a Leprechaun Lemonade for $16.99, which is a mischievous blend of homemade green lemonade, crisp apple pucker and smooth vodka, topped with a shimmering green sugar rim.
MJ23 Sports Bar & Grill will feature Corned Beef served with carrots, cabbage, whole grain mustard aioli and Big Mike Sauce for $18 and Braised Short Rib served with Guiness sauce, peas, carrots, onions, and mashed Red Bliss potatoes for $32. MJ23 Sports Bar & Grill will also have Green Beer and Shamrock Martinis made with Baileys Irish Cream, crème de menthe, vodka, and half-and-half.
Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook will have drink specials available for the entire month of March. Mary Wren started in 2002 with Mohegan Sun’s very first hotel team, helping to welcome guests for their first overnight stays at Sky Tower. Her career in hotel operations grew from there as Wren became Front Office Manager, Hotel Manager and Director of Operations before her latest promotion to VP of Hotel Operations. Wren also played an integral role in launching Mohegan Pennsylvania’s first hotel in 2013 and was a major player in the opening Mohegan Sun’s second hotel tower, Earth Tower, in 2016. As VP of Hotel Operations, Wren will oversee hotel operations and lead strategic planning for the overall hotel team at Mohegan Sun, in addition to leading the Environmental Services (EVS) team.
Chris Greaney began his career at Mohegan Sun in 2014 as the Service Manager at Bar American and from there, he became Operations Manager at Todd English’s Tuscany shortly before being named Director of Fine Dining for Mohegan Sun. As the VP of F&B, Greaney will oversee all areas of Mohegan Sun’s owned or managed restaurant, lounge and nightlife offerings. This includes guiding operations and top-notch guest service for a variety of eateries and fine dining attractions across Mohegan Sun, including the likes of: TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge, novelle, Todd English’s Tuscany, Sunrise Square Food Court, Thirty-Three Lounge, The Crafty Slice and the all-new Beauty & Essex.
