All the classic hits from the enduringly-popular group in the Arena on Friday, May 28th
One of the most beloved groups in Pop music history, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, will appear in concert live at Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, May 28th at 8:00pm.
All tickets are $30.00 and go on sale Monday, March 29th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons scored nineteen Top 10 hits starting in the 60s including “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry” and “Walk Like A Man.” Their distinctive New Jersey-bred sound survived and even flourished in the wake of the “British Invasion” of the mid-60s. Later, Valli went on to a successful solo career, singing the theme to the movie version of Grease and hitting the top of the charts with “My Eyes Adored You” and “December, 1963 (Oh, What A Night).” In 1990, the group was honored with their induction into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. As evidence of the group’s staying power, a musical based on their rags-to-riches story entitled “Jersey Boys” is a Tony Award-winning smash hit on Broadway.

“United We Rock” tour is live in the Arena on June 18th
Classic Rock acts Styx & Foreigner with special guest Kansas have plans to hit the road together this summer for a tour they’ve dubbed “United We Rock.” The tour will hit Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, June 18th at 7:00pm.

Styx’s most recent release is 2006’s One With Everything, a live CD/DVD set showcasing the band’s hit songs with accompaniment from the Contemporary Youth Orchestra of Cleveland.
Along with classic hits, Foreigner will perform material from last year’s Can’t Slow Down, the band’s first studio set with lead singer Kelly Hansen, who joined the group in 2005.
Kansas also released a live album, There’s Know Place Like Home, which hit shelves last October.

Chelsea Handler will meet fans on Friday, April 9th
Immediately following her show in Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, April 9th, at 8:00pm, the multi-talented and hilarious Chelsea Handler will participate in a Signings & Sightings event. This free personal appearance and signing will take place on the Spin Street Stage in The Shops at Mohegan Sun. All Signings & Sightings events are free and open to the public.
Chelsea Handler’s latest book, Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang, will be available for purchase in Spin Street. This signing is limited to the first 300 Spin Street book purchasers on the day of the event. Each Spin Street book purchaser will receive a bracelet which will gain them entrance to the Chelsea Handler signing line.

Sting will spend much of the summer on a world tour, performing his most-renowned songs alongside the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. The very special concert event will be taking place at Mohegan Sun Arena on Tuesday, July 6th at 7:30pm.

Last year, Sting unveiled If On a Winter’s Night…, which peaked at #6 on The Billboard 200 and has since been certified gold. The 45-piece Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra will reinvent a variety of hits by Sting and The Police, including “Roxanne,” “Next to You,” “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic,” “Every Breath You Take” and “Desert Rose,” among others. Two acts that were regulars on the charts in the early 80s, REO Speedwagon & Pat Benatar, are teaming up for a co-headlining tour which kicks off Thursday, June 24th at 7:30pm in Mohegan Sun Arena with special guest Keaton Simons.

REO Speedwagon continues to support 2007’s Find Your Own Way Home, which marked the band’s first collection of new material in more than a decade. The 10-track set, billed as a return to the power-ballad/melodic-Rock-anthem glory days, has spawned the Adult-Contemporary hits “I Needed To Fall” and the title track.
Go, Pat Benatar’s most recent release and 12th studio effort, surfaced in 2003. The album peaked at #187 on The Billboard 200. Last summer, Benatar celebrated the 30th anniversary of her 1979 debut album, In the Heat of the Night. The set received platinum certification in the U.S. and its third single, “Heartbreaker,” became Benatar’s first radio hit, climbing to #23 on The Billboard Hot 100.
