Aerosmith Performing Toys In The Attic Album in its Entirety

Concert on June 28th will feature the classic album live for the first time
During their current North American summer tour, Aerosmith – America’s Greatest Rock ‘N Roll Band who’ve sold over 150 million albums, won four Grammys and have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame – is performing their classic Toys In The Attic album live from front to back, along with an array of Aerosmith hits at their concert on June 28th in Mohegan Sun Arena. This marks the first time ever that the band has played the 8-million-plus-selling 1975 disc in its entirety.  The influential album has inspired many musicians, including R.E.M., who covered the song on 1987’s Dead Letter Office.  In addition, a copy of the album was one of two Aerosmith albums that astronaut pilot Mark E. Kelly took with him on board the Space Shuttle Discovery on a 13-day, 8.5 million-kilometer trip to the International Space Station in July 2006.
Toys In The Attic features Aerosmith concert staples “Walk This Way” and “Sweet Emotion” and the LP was featured on Rolling Stone’s list of the “Greatest Albums Of All Time.”  Writing about Toys In The Attic in the November 1, 2003 Rolling Stone feature, the magazine said: “This is where Aerosmith perfected their raunchy Blues-Rock sound, with guitarist Joe Perry laying down some of the Seventies’ most indelible riffs on ‘Walk This Way’ and ‘Sweet Emotion,’ and Steven Tyler stepping up with an album full of unforgettable songs about his favorite topic: sex.”
Tickets are $175.00 and $125.00 and are on sale now at the Mohegan Sun Box Office and through Ticketmaster.  Ticketmaster customers may log on to ticketmaster.com, call Ticketmaster’s national toll free Charge by Phone number 1.800.745.3000, or visit any Ticketmaster outlet.
