WHAT: In celebration of Mohegan Sun’s 15th Anniversary this October, there will be property wide specials,discounts and deals at many of our fine restaurants and retail outlets in honor of the historic milestone.
IN DETAIL: Below is a complete list of the dining and retail offerings available as part of Mohegan Sun’s 15th anniversary celebration.
DINING SPECIALS
- Birches Bar & Grill will feature combo lunch specials including the classic Turkey BLT, Home-style Meatloaf, Chicken Parmesan, Burger Platter, General Tso’s Chicken, Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap, Woodstone Pizza and Plain Jane Mac & Cheese. All specials include chef’s desert and fountain beverage or coffee or tea and are priced $15.00 per person, valid from October 1st through October 23rd from 11:00am – 4:00pm.
- Ballo Italian Restaurant and Social Club will be serving up a lunch special where guests can choose from a selection of sandwiches paired with an 8 oz. glass of wine from one of Ballo’s excellent wine choices. This lunch special is priced at $15.00 per person and is valid from 11:30am – 4:00pm starting on October 5th and continuing through October 31st.
- Chief’s Deli will serve soup and sandwich combo meals that include a soft drink, coffee or tea all for $15.00. This lunch special is valid throughout the month of October from 11:00am -11:00pm.
- The Dubliner will offer a 3-course lunch special from 11:30am – 4:00pm and it will include a choice of soup or salad, an entrée, dessert and beverage all for $15.00. This special lasts throughout October.
- Geno’s Bagels, Sweets & Subs as well as Geno’s Fast Break, Geno’s Pub and Wok-On by Geno’s Fast Break will offer 15% off every Thursday during the month of October. Not valid on Arena show nights or holidays.
- Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana will feature a medium cheese pizza and two fountain sodas for $15.00 and is valid throughout October. *Toppings available at an additional cost.
- Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville will serve a Parrot Head Po’Boy fried shrimp sandwich platter with Prickly Pear Lemonade all for $15.95 per person. Offer valid throughout October.
- Johnny Rockets’ delicious Rocket single will be offered with fries, a soft drink and apple pie or ice cream all for $15.00 per person and valid throughout October.
- Lucky’s Lounge will feature a 3-course lunch special that includes a soup or salad, an entrée, dessert and soda, coffee, tea or water all for $15.00 per person. This offer is valid from 11:30am – 4:00pm, seven days a week throughout October.
- Michael Jordan’s 23.sportcafe and Michael Jordan’s Steak House will both showcase its variety of tasty apps with a Sampler Platter for $15.00 per person. Offer valid throughout October.
- SolToro Tequila Grill will also feature a Sampler Platter of appetizers for $15.00 per person and valid throughout October.
- The Original Soup Man will also have a special that comes with a cup of soup (excluding bisque), half sandwich, bag of chips or a cookie and a beverage all for $15.00 per person and valid throughout October.
- Sunrise Square will have delicious combo meals like Beef Brisket, Roast Chicken, BBQ Pork, Beef with Vegetables, General Tso’s Chicken plus many more. All combos include white rice and a beverage (excluding fresh and mango juices, bottled green tea and energy drinks), running all through October and priced at $15.00 per person.
- Ben & Jerry’s will have 15% off all smoothies throughout October.
- Krispy Kreme Doughnuts will offer a free dozen original glazed doughnuts with a purchase of an assorted dozen doughnuts all throughout October.

Right next door, Michael Jordan’s 23.sportcafe will be serving a mouthwatering 23 oz. Prime Rib with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Asparagus. This meal will be offered at $34.00 per person.
Big Bubba’s BBQ will be featuring a succulent Prime Rib as well, served with Twice Baked Potato for $22.95 per person.
SolToro Tequila Grill will be offering a delicious 16 oz. Kansas City Steak, “papas de la abuela,” with Fingerling Potatoes sautéed with Onion, Garlic, Poblano Peppers and Cilantro as well as a side of Wild Mushrooms with Serrano Pepper Escabeche & Red Wine Reduction. This meal will be offered at $33.95 per person.
Birches Bar & Grill will prepare a three-course meal beginning with a choice of Soup or Birches House Salad followed by an entrée of Roast Prime Rib of Beef served with Asparagus Spears, Garlic Smashed Potatoes and Horseradish Cream. For dessert, a Banana-Milk Chocolate Bombe with Caramel Rum Sauce and a Chocolate Covered Pretzel Garnish will be prepared. The special will be offered at $24.95 per person from Noon until 11:00pm.
Todd English’s Tuscany will be featuring a Chef’s Tasting for this Father’s Day that starts guests off with a Beef Tartare served with Truffle Vinaigrette and Grilled Toast Points. The second course is Veal Ravioli with Mushroom-Thyme Cream. Next up is the main course which offers a Surf & Turf dish that includes a Petit Filet, Pesto Grilled Shrimp, Silk Potatoes and Tuscan Demi. This meal is capped off with a delicious Root Beer Float. This Tasting will be served for $55.00 or $90.00 with Wine Pairings.
Sunburst Buffet will have a wide choice of meals throughout their various stations. For Italian lovers, Penne Primavera, Pork Cutlet Milanese as well as Housemade Meatballs with Marinara will all be offered. Sunburst also has Seafood covered with Steamed Mussels Fra Diavolo with fresh Basil, Stir-Fried Shrimp and Vegtable, and Bronzed Red Snapper with Creole Sauce. Sunburst will also be preparing tasty BBQ St. Louis Ribs, Grilled Herb Marinated Chicken Breast and at 5:00pm Prime Rib will be offered. The salad bar will be dressed up with Buffalo Style Tofu, Curried Chick Peas and Farro Risotto with Roasted Peppers and Mushrooms and at 5:00pm, Peel & Eat Shrimp will be available. DINING OFFERINGS
Todd English’s Tuscany will be offering a Chef’s Tasting Menu starting with Oysters Rockefeller with Truffle Cream followed by Rabbit Ravioli with Brown Beet Butter. A Kurabuta Pork Chop with Smoky Sweet Potato and Candied Bacon is next on the list, followed by Chocolate Cherry Ice Cream Bombe for dessert. This Tasting Menu will be available on Valentine’s Day for $55.00 per person or $90.00 with wine pairings.
At Birches Bar & Grill, a special Valentine’s Day 3-course meal will be offered both Sunday and Monday beginning at noon. Start the meal off with either Soup du Jour or the Birches House Salad, followed by Surf & Turf featuring an 8 oz. Sirloin Steak with two Seafood Stuffed Shrimp, Chef’s Vegetable and Rice Pilaf. And no meal is complete without dessert. Guests will enjoy “Love Thy Chocolate” a Molten Chocolate Heart Cake with Wild Strawberry Mousse on a Strawberry Coulis painted plate. The price is $29.95.

Over at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, guests can enjoy Margaritaville’s Dinner in Paradise for two. It includes choice of Soup or Salad and a selection of either Surf & Turf or Chicken Piccata. Couples will cap off the dinner with Chocolate Banana Bread Pudding to share. A glass of Wine or a House Margarita for each will also be offered. The Margaritaville Dinner in Paradise for two is priced at $62.00.
Those looking to celebrate a little early can head over to Lucky’s Lounge where guests can choose to share one appetizer of Bruschetta, Scallops wrapped in Bacon or Stuffed Mushrooms followed by their choice of a House Salad, Tasso Ham Clam Chowder or the Soup of the Day. For the main entrée, guests can choose from sultry Braised Short Ribs, Penne A La Vodka, New England Baked Scrod or Chicken Piccata. Tomahawk Steak for two that offers Long Bone Prime Aged Rib Eye Steak dressed up with Worcestershire Reduction and Elephant Roasted Garlic. The dessert will be Long Stemmed Strawberries Dipped in Chocolate Ganache. The meal includes a complementary bottle of Cataregia Gran Reserva Tempranillo wine and is served at $149.00 per couple.

Valentine’s Day Weekend marks the first-ever performance by multi-platinum selling band Linkin Park in Mohegan Sun Arena. The show is set to kick off at 7:00pm on Friday, February 11th and tickets are $72.50 & $52.50.
On Saturday, February 12th, stand-up comic Stephanie Peters rolls into Mohegan Sun’s Cabaret Theatre. The night of comedy will feature Carie Karavas and special guest Judy Cianciotto. This special performance is presented by Treehouse Comedy Club and begins at 8:00pm.
