The band will be live in Mohegan Sun Arena on August 29th
UNCASVILLE, CT (April 9, 2018) – With the spring 5 Seconds Of Summer (5SOS) tour completely sold out, the band is making good on its promise to fans for a more extensive outing, including larger venues and amphitheaters across the run. The Meet You There Tour, produced by Live Nation, will launch on August 27th in Toronto, ON and include a show at Mohegan Sun Arena on Wednesday, August 29th starting at 7:30pm. The 25-city North American headline trek will conclude on October 12th with a concert at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre. Each ticket purchased for the Meet You There Tour also includes a copy of the forthcoming album.
Tickets are $59.50, $49.50 and $39.50 and go on sale Friday, April 13th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. Additionally, Capitol Records will release Youngblood, the third studio album from 5SOS, on June 22nd. Today, the band shared the album’s cover and let fans know the title track will be released this Thursday, April 12th, at 7:00AM PT/10AM ET.
On Youngblood, 5SOS expands its musical parameters while retaining the hooks and trademark DNA that’s always been a massive part of the band’s appeal. Vocalist/guitarist Luke Hemmings explains, “Growing up is what we had to do on Youngblood. Seven years as a band may seem like a long time, but we were teenagers when we started. We had to look at each other and say, ‘Are we going to stop now, or do this forever? Because if we continue, then we have to go farther than we ever have before.’”
5SOS will perform “Want You Back,” the first single from Youngblood, on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this Wednesday, April 11th – the eve of the band’s sold-out show at New York City’s Irving Plaza. The track debuted at #1 on iTunes in over 18 countries and has already amassed more than 60 million streams worldwide. “Want You Back” showcases the bold new approach 5SOS takes on Youngblood. UNCASVILLE, CT (March 26, 2018) – Rise Against will kick off their extensive North American Mourning In Amerika Tour with a headline performance at ’77 Montréal Punk festival on July 27th. The run, produced by Live Nation, will include a show at Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk in New York City (August 1st), a concert with Fall Out Boy at Wrigley Field in the band’s hometown of Chicago (September 8th) and an evening at Red Rocks Amphitheatre outside Denver (September 15th).
