UNCASVILLE, CT (September 23, 2024) – Veteran entertainers The O’Jays and Gladys Knight will take Mohegan Sun Arena on a trip down memory lane with all their greatest hits during a 7:30pm show Saturday, November 16th.
Tickets go on sale Friday, September 27th at 10:00am via Ticketmaster.com. Subject to availability, fans of Knight & The O’Jays can purchase tickets at the Mohegan Sun Box Office starting on Saturday, September 28th.
ABOUT GLADYS KNIGHT
The great ones endure, and Gladys Knight has long been one of the greatest. Very few singers over the last sixty years have matched her unassailable artistry. This seven-time GRAMMY Award winner has enjoyed #1 hits in Pop, Gospel, R&B, and Adult Contemporary, and has triumphed in film, television, and live performance.
All told, Knight has recorded more than 38 albums over the years, including four solo albums: “Good Woman” (1991); “Just for You” (1994); the inspirational “Many Different Roads” (1999); and “At Last” (2001). “At Last” showed the world that she still has what it takes to record a hit album, employing the talents of contemporary producers like Randy Jackson.

Country music singer Corey Kent will take the Wolf Den stage for a free concert to benefit Mothers Against Drunk Driving

IN DETAIL: Guests are invited to enjoy a special night in the Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun as Corey Kent with special guest Max McNown will be the entertainment featured for the 16th Annual MADD benefit. Other MADD festivities include a silent auction happening daily in The Shops at Mohegan Sun from Friday, October 18th through Sunday, October 20th. The three-day auction will be held from Noon until 10:00pm each day. Donations to MADD will also be accepted at the silent auction throughout the night.

ABOUT COREY KENT
With the small-town charm of a boy from Bixby, OK, the big-city energy of Dallas, TX, and vocal prowess that rivals Nashville’s best – Corey Kent has been poised for a career in music from the beginning. Growing up influenced by various genres and artists, Corey started his journey in music at an early age. Taking the stage at age 11 as the lead singer for a touring Western Swing band, Corey hit early career milestones opening for legendary acts like Roy Clark and The Oak Ridge Boys.
