Aerosmith Performing Toys In The Attic Album in its Entirety

Concert on June 28th will feature the classic album live for the first time
During their current North American summer tour, Aerosmith – America’s Greatest Rock ‘N Roll Band who’ve sold over 150 million albums, won four Grammys and have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame – is performing their classic Toys In The Attic album live from front to back, along with an array of Aerosmith hits at their concert on June 28th in Mohegan Sun Arena. This marks the first time ever that the band has played the 8-million-plus-selling 1975 disc in its entirety.  The influential album has inspired many musicians, including R.E.M., who covered the song on 1987’s Dead Letter Office.  In addition, a copy of the album was one of two Aerosmith albums that astronaut pilot Mark E. Kelly took with him on board the Space Shuttle Discovery on a 13-day, 8.5 million-kilometer trip to the International Space Station in July 2006.
Toys In The Attic features Aerosmith concert staples “Walk This Way” and “Sweet Emotion” and the LP was featured on Rolling Stone’s list of the “Greatest Albums Of All Time.”  Writing about Toys In The Attic in the November 1, 2003 Rolling Stone feature, the magazine said: “This is where Aerosmith perfected their raunchy Blues-Rock sound, with guitarist Joe Perry laying down some of the Seventies’ most indelible riffs on ‘Walk This Way’ and ‘Sweet Emotion,’ and Steven Tyler stepping up with an album full of unforgettable songs about his favorite topic: sex.”
Tickets are $175.00 and $125.00 and are on sale now at the Mohegan Sun Box Office and through Ticketmaster.  Ticketmaster customers may log on to ticketmaster.com, call Ticketmaster’s national toll free Charge by Phone number 1.800.745.3000, or visit any Ticketmaster outlet.

Kings Of Leon Live Under The Sun

Concert in the Arena on Wednesday, September 9th
Mohegan Sun Arena will play host to one of the hottest bands around right now when Kings Of Leon perform live on Wednesday, September 9th at 7:30pm with special guest Glasvegas.
Tickets are $45.00 and go on sale Saturday, June 13th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster.  Ticketmaster customers may log on to ticketmaster.com, call Ticketmaster’s national toll free Charge by Phone number 1.800.745.3000; or visit any Ticketmaster outlet.  Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office on Sunday, June 14th, subject to availability.
When Kings of Leon released their third album Because Of The Times in 2007, Entertainment Weekly called it their “crowning achievement,” while Rolling Stone wondered: “How good can the Kings of Leon get? They’ve already gone further than anybody could have guessed.”
“After three records and touring for five years straight, we knew what we were capable of,” says the band’s drummer Nathan. “We just had to put our money where our mouths were. We had to take it to the next level. You always want your next record to be better than your last.” Adds frontman and lyricist Caleb: “There’s never a time that we’ll make a record and won’t attempt to do something better than what came before.”
With its stunning melodies, ringing guitars, and razor-sharp grooves, Only By The Night delivers on the promise Kings of Leon have shown throughout their career. From the desolate atmospherics of the opening track “Closer”  to the emotional intensity of the closing ballad “Cold Desert,” Only By The Night is all heart from start to finish.
Glasvegas are a Scottish Alternative Rock band that formed in Glasgow in 2003. The band consists of James Allan (vocals, rhythm guitar), Rab Allan (lead guitar, backing vocals), Paul Donoghue (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Caroline McKay (drums).

Rock supergroup performs live on August 20th
Chickenfoot, the highly-anticipated new Rock group, comprised of guitar hero Joe Satriani, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ drummer Chad Smith, former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony and frontman Sammy Hagar, will take the stage at Mohegan Sun on Thursday, August 20th at 7:30pm with special guests Davy Knowles & Back Door Slam.
Tickets are $35.00 and go on sale Saturday, June 13th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster.
Long before these four Rock icons came together to form Chickenfoot, they already had filled the pages of Rock history with enough individual mind-blowing chapters to boggle the mind of any fan or musician alike. Satriani had his own blazing solo career as a much-respected guitar virtuoso; Chad Smith is the drummer of world-renowned Rock band The Red Hot Chili Peppers; and Michael Anthony and Sammy Hagar have been working together since their days as bassist and lead singer, respectively, in Van Halen. These talented individuals were aching to work together in a band that produced Rock like they never have before.
Davy Knowles and Back Door Slam are back with a new album produced by Peter Frampton. Coming Up For Air, a smorgasbord of rockers and acoustic ballads, includes Davy and Peter dueling guitar solos on George Harrison s anthem, “Hear Me Lord,” and an extraordinary bonus track duet with Jonatha Brooke.
