Lupe Fiasco takes the stage on July 19th, and The Roots on August 2nd as part of Mohegan Sun’s outdoor Sun Patio Concert Series

UNCASVILLE, CT (June 30, 2025) – The entertainment at Mohegan Sun continues to turn up the heat this summer with two powerhouse Hip-Hop performances as part of the Sun Patio Concert Series. Grammy-winning lyricist Lupe Fiasco will kick off the excitement on Saturday, July 19th at 8:00pm, followed by legendary Hip-Hop group The Roots at 9:00pm on Saturday, August 2nd. Both outdoor shows are set to deliver unforgettable nights of live music. The series continues throughout summer with more details available HERE.

ABOUT LUPE FIASCO

 Wasalu Muhammad Jaco, better known by his stage name Lupe Fiasco, is a Chicago-born, Grammy award-winning American rapper, record producer, entrepreneur, and community advocate. Formed in 1987 in Philadelphia, PA, The Roots—Black Thought (MC), Ahmir “?Questlove” Thompson (drums), Kamal Gray (electronic keyboards), F. Knuckles (percussion), Captain Kirk Douglas (electronic guitar), Damon Bryson (sousaphone) and James Poyser (electronic keyboard)—have become one of the best known and most respected Hip-Hop acts in the business.
