UNCASVILLE, CT (December 14, 2016) – Following the sold-out successes of both its 2014 inaugural run and a fan-demanded sophomore run in 2015, Move Live on Tour, featuring powerhouse duo Julianne and Derek Hough, is back and better than ever in 2017 with an all-new experience – Move – Beyond – Live On Tour. Julianne and Derek stopped by Good Morning America this morning to make their nationwide announcement, performing at the Times Squares studio and giving fans a taste of the high-energy choreography expected from the tour. Taking a cue from the elements, the show will feature inspiration pulled from earth, wind, fire and water. Move – Beyond – Live on Tour will be live at Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday, April 30th at 7:30pm.

The Hough siblings are promising fans their biggest and best show yet, with brand-new stage production inspired by the elements – earth, wind, fire, and water – which the duo have infused into fresh, high impact choreography that only they can deliver. The show will bring fans on a journey of dance and music, taking inspiration directly from the four elements as an exploration of the human relationship with nature. The pair will be joined by the Move Company Dancers for group performances in styles ranging from ballroom and tap to salsa and hip-hop and everything in between.

Superstar siblings plan all-new tour due to fan demand; Mohegan Sun Arena welcomes the dance pair back for two shows on July 12th
UNCASVILLE, CT (March 2, 2015) — On the heels of their sold out 2014 tour, superstar siblings Julianne and Derek Hough will team up once again, dancing their way across stages all over the country, in their new MOVE LIVE ON TOUR 2015. The pair stopped by Good Morning America to announce MOVE LIVE ON TOUR 2015 which will kick off on June 12th in Phoenix, AZ and hit over 40 cities including stops at the famed Radio City Music Hall in NYC, Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville and Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT for two shows on Sunday, July 12th, set for 3:00pm and 8:00pm.

The Houghs are promising MOVE LIVE ON TOUR 2015 will be bigger and better than ever. “We had such a fun and high energy show last year. It was amazing to see such a great reaction from our fans the first time, and we can’t wait til they see what we have up our sleeves now! Our goal then, and our goal now is to have it feel like a Rock concert for dance and I think we have and certainly will accomplish that again,” said Julianne Hough.

The show will feature a brand new stage production to showcase the fresh, exciting and high impact choreography spanning across a multitude of different dance styles that all audience members are sure to love! The Houghs will be joined by the Move Company Dancers in a fast paced show, featuring live vocal performances from both Julianne and Derek with incredible costumes and staging to complement.
JULIANNE HOUGH is known to audiences around the world for her success in film, television and music. She was a two-time professional champion on ABC’s top-rated Dancing with the Stars, before making a seamless transition to award-winning recording artist and her feature film debut in Burlesque. She starred in the update of Footloose and the all-star film adaptation of the musical, Rock of Ages. Hough also starred opposite Josh Duhamel in Nicholas Sparks’ Safe Haven, directed by Lasse Hallstrom and starred in Diablo Cody’s directorial debut, Paradise, opposite Russell Brand and Octavia Spencer. She thrilled fans when she returned full-time to the Dancing With the Stars ballroom as the fourth judge last fall and returns for the show’s highly-anticipated 20th season, premiering March 16th. Julianne’s upcoming film projects include a yet-untitled comedy opposite Robert De Niro and Zac Efron and she will fulfill her lifelong dream of playing the role of Sandy in a televised production of Grease, which will be broadcast live on FOX in January 2016. DEREK HOUGH is an Emmy Award-winning choreographer and New York Times Bestselling author of Taking the Lead: Lessons from a Life in Motion. The only five-time champion in franchise history of Dancing with the Stars, Hough’s celebrity partners have included Brooke Burke, Ricki Lake, Nicole Scherzinger, Jennifer Grey, Kellie Pickler and Amber Riley, Hough’s innovative and daring choreography has garnered him a total of six Emmy Nominations. He starred in London’s West End production of Footloose in 2006. In 2013, he partnered with World Champion ice dancers Meryl Davis and Charlie White to
choreograph their short program for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, where the duo was awarded the gold medal after performing that routine, garnering record-setting scores and rave reviews. Superstar siblings to tour North America in their own all-new dance production, including stop at Mohegan Sun Arena on June 22nd
Superstar siblings Julianne and Derek Hough will star in their own all-new dance production, Move Live On Tour, onstage across North America beginning May 28 through July, 2014. Move Live On Tour will be a complete stage production, with sets, costumes and a cast of talented dancers, with the Hough’s headlining in solo, duet and group performances in styles ranging from ballroom and tap to Salsa and Hip-Hop and everything in-between. The performance heads to Mohegan Sun for a Sunday, June 22nd show beginning at 7:30pm.

Connecticut celebrities compete to benefit Mothers Against Drunk Driving at Mohegan September 30th
Uncasville, CT — Eleven Connecticut celebrities will lace up their dancing shoes and hit the floor at Mohegan Sun on Wednesday, September 30th to help raise awareness and funds for Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). Teaming up with WCTY and Arthur Murray Dance Studio, Mohegan Sun will host a one-night-only “MADD About Dancing” competition in The Cabaret Theatre featuring a special vocal performance by special guest Julianne Hough from Dancing with the Stars.
Doors to The Cabaret Theatre will open at 7:00pm where guests will have the opportunity to enjoy hand-passed hors d’oeuvres and participate in a silent auction featuring Steiner Sports memorabilia among other items before the celebrities take the stage at 7:30pm with their professional dance partners.
The group of celebrities includes: Bruce “Two Dogs” Bozsum, the Chairman of the Mohegan Tribe; Miss Connecticut’s “Outstanding Teen” Acacia Courtney; Country recording artist Billy Gilman; NBC Connecticut anchor Brad Drazen; WCTY’s Morning Show co-host Jimmy Lane; Connecticut State Police Lieutenant Paul Vance; State of Connecticut Comptroller Nancy Wyman; Fox 61 Morning personality Rachel Lutzker; 2009 Miss Connecticut Sharalyn Kuziak; UConn women’s basketball assistant coach Shea Ralph; and Country singer Stephanie Hansen.
For the competition, each celebrity will be paired with a professional dance partner from Arthur Murray Dance Studio and will perform two short routines, including a foxtrot and a swing performance. Professional dance expos and a special appearance by Julianne Hough from Dancing with the Stars will round out the event. Julianne, who is playing in Mohegan Sun’s Wolf Den earlier that evening, will perform a few songs off her latest CD in The Cabaret Theatre for guests.
Tickets to “MADD About Dancing” are $50.00 per person and benefit Mother’s Against Drunk Driving. They go on sale to the public on Monday, August 24th and are available at the following locations: all participating Arthur Murray Dance Studios, the MADD state office in East Haven, the WCTY building in Norwich and at Mohegan Sun’s Box Office.
