Stars behind hits like “I’ll Make Love To You” and “End of the Road” return January 18, 2025
UNCASVILLE, CT (September 30, 2024) – The best-selling R&B group of all time, Boyz II Men, are returning to Mohegan Sun Arena for the first time since 2017 with their full catalog of timeless hits that appeal to fans across all generations for an 8:00pm show on Saturday, January 18th.

10th Annual benefit to take place in the Uncas Ballroom on Saturday, November 16th
UNCASVILLE, CT (September 24, 2024) – On Saturday, November 16th, all are welcome to head to Mohegan Sun to celebrate active-duty military and veterans at the 10th Annual Vets Rock. This event features valuable programs that focus on enhancing the lives of veterans and active-duty military members through a job fair, veteran service organizations, veteran-owned businesses, and other resources. This event is free and open to all ages.
Opening Ceremony
The Opening Ceremony, presented by Gil Simmons from WTNH, will take place from 11:00am – Noon in front of the Box Office in The Shops at Mohegan Sun. An exciting presentation from the Tribal Color Guard will kick off the festivities! Members of Mohegan Sun’s executive team along with other influential speakers will discuss the importance of our military and will show their gratitude for veterans. Additionally, a local school will perform the National Anthem and two service dogs will be presented to their new owners by Everlasting Veteran and donated by Meadow Ridge Weims (And Danes). Following the ceremony, guests are invited to the Uncas Ballroom for the 10th year of Vets Rock.
Vets Rock Expo
From Noon – 4:00pm, guests of all ages are invited to attend the free Vets Rock Expo in the Uncas Ballroom at Mohegan Sun. The expo will feature tables hosted by veteran service organizations, educational services and companies looking to provide benefits to veterans and active-duty military members. A job fair hosted by Mohegan Sun will be available during the expo to assist service members and their families in accessing career opportunities. Everyone in attendance will have the opportunity to receive a flu vaccine by Northeast Medical Group and interact with adorable puppies looking for their forever home as All Paws on Deck will be hosting an adoption event. Guests 21 or older will also be able to participate in Casino 101 featuring free Blackjack and Roulette lessons offered by Mohegan Sun.
As a thank you to the troops, both past and present, Mohegan Sun regularly offers year-round military discounts to all active-duty military personnel, veterans and military dependents at more than 40 shops and dining locations across property. IN DETAIL: On Friday, October 18th, guests can enjoy the revamped Sun Patio in a brand-new way! As the leaves turn and the air becomes crisp, Mohegan Sun is inviting guests to cozy up under the stars for a night of fall fun. The night kicks off at 6:00pm with a classic family-friendly movie, Hocus Pocus (rated PG), followed by Jordan Peele’s Us (rated R), starting at 8:30pm. Throughout the night, delicious plates from food trucks, autumn-themed cocktail specials and cozy fire pits will be available for purchase. Guests are encouraged to gather their friends and family and dress in their warmest sweater or favorite costume for an autumn night to remember.
Guests will be able to reserve a fire pit in advance for up to eight guests. Each reservation will include the choice of a complimentary cocktail or a pizza slice with a soda or water, seating for up to eight people, prime viewing of the movie screen and cocktail service. All seating will be reserved on a per movie basis. Additional seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
