Beginning July 1st through September 6th, guests can win their share of $250,000 just by swiping their Player’s Club card once a day in Earth or Sky Promotions. Kicking off on July 7th at 5:00pm, guests can pick up the freshest local fruits and vegetables at the Farmer’s Market, stroll through the Classic Car Show and check out Mohegan Sun’s Fire Department Charity Cook-Off Competition at 6:00pm. The fun doesn’t stop there; at 7:30pm, Mohegan Sun and Clear Channel Radio bring on the Sizzling Summer Showdown, where eight local bands will compete for a grand prize of $3,000 and their own show in the Wolf Den. Finish off the night with the Fireworks Extravaganza starting at approximately 9:00pm. Wild Wednesdays are community events open to guests of all ages. Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian upon entering the building. A portion of the proceeds from Wild Wednesdays will benefit the American Red Cross.

Mohegan Sun will host a unique “Triple The Thrills” Winning Authors event on July 6th that will feature three extraordinary thriller writer, Steve Martini, Kate White and Noah Boyd. The event begins in The Cabaret Theatre at 6:30pm with a special live discussion with the three thrilling authors followed by a book signing in The Shops at Mohegan Sun.
On July 23rd, “the hardest working man in show business”, Regis Philbin and his wife Joy will take part in the popular Signings & Sightings to promote their new album entitled Just You. Just Me. Regis and Joy will sign autographs and greet fans on the Spin Street stage in The Shops at Mohegan Sun.
As the summer winds down, the excitement keeps building when Melissa Sandvig and Brandon Bryant from So You Think You Can Dance perform and greet fans as part of Mohegan Sun’s Reality Check series on August 9th.
The entertainment doesn’t stop there because this summer, Mohegan Sun heats up the stage at the Arena, The Cabaret Theatre and the Wolf Den with great headliners all summer long. Some of the hottest tours will be hitting the stage at Mohegan Sun Arena including Michael Buble, Rihanna, KISS, Maroon 5 and Aerosmith, to name a few. As always, the Arena will also host the WNBA’s Connecticut Sun with games throughout the summer months.
In the Wolf Den, free entertainment is offered seven days a week. Whether you are looking for a throwback like The Village People or a hot Country artist, such as Joe Nichols, guests are bound to find a show that suits them.
The Cabaret Theatre is now home to lots of laughs every Friday and Saturday beginning July 2nd during Hot Summer Fun. The Cabaret Theatre presents Treehouse Comedy Productions, now two nights a week hosting some of the best stand-up comedians including Craig Shoemaker, Frankie Pace, Steve White and Bobby Slayton.
On September 5th and 6th, join us as we host MDA Stars Across America Labor Day Telethon for a live broadcast in the Uncas Ballroom. In 2009, over $60.5 million was raised to benefit those with neuromuscular disease.
