Celebrating Club/Dance music live on Saturday, February 21st
Mohegan Sun Arena will once again host the top talents of Freestyle Dance music when Freestyle Extravaganza IV takes over on Saturday, February 21st at 8:00pm.
Tickets are $68.00 and $48.00 and are on sale now at the Mohegan Sun Box Office and through Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster customers may log on to Tickemaster.com, call any Ticketmaster Charge By Phone number, or visit any Ticketmaster outlet.
The 2008 Freestyle show brought together some of the best-remembered and most loved Dance music of the 80s, and the 2009 edition continues the revival. Born in the club scene of New York City during the end of the Disco era, Freestyle went on to capture a generation with its irresistible beats and marked the start of the Hip-Hop sound.
Performers include Sisqó, with hit songs like “Thong Song” and “Incomplete,” CeCe Penniston with “Finally” and K7/TKA is in the lineup with their hit song “Scars of Love.” C+C Music Factory featuring Freedom Williams will perform “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)” and The Cover Girls perform “Show Me” and “Wishing On A Star.” George Lamond performs the hit song “Bad of the Heart” and Fascination are sure to bring “Why You Wanna Go” to the Arena stage. Additional performers include Noel with “Silent Morning,” Cynthia with “Change On Me,” Coro with “Where Are You Tonight,” Hanson and Davis with “Hungry For Your Love,” Special Ed with “I Got It Made,” Slick Rick with “Children’s Story,” Doug E. Fresh with “The Show” and Newcleus with “Jam On It.”
