Best-selling author Linda Fairstein hosts Winning Authors event on March 13th
Mohegan Sun’s Winning Authors is pleased to welcome New York Times best-selling author Linda Fairstein. The internationally-recognized author will host a live discussion on Saturday, March 13th in The Cabaret Theatre at 2:00pm to be followed by a book signing in The Shops at Mohegan Sun at 3:00pm for her twelfth and latest novel Hell Gate. Linda Fairstein joins an elite class of authors such as Sue Grafton, Nora Roberts, Robin Cook and John Saul to appear in a Winning Authors event at Mohegan Sun.
From 1976 to 2002, Linda Fairstein served as head of the Sex Crimes Unit of the Manhattan District Attorney’s office. With eleven installments complete, Fairstein’s Alexandra Cooper novels have been a mainstay on best-seller lists for more than a decade. In Hell Gate, Alexandra Cooper finds herself investigating a shipwreck that has contraband cargo, human cargo and a political sex scandal involving a young, promising New York congressman that has fallen from grace. Grammy award-winning singer Michael Bublé will be returning to Mohegan Sun for two very special, all-new performances live in the Arena on Friday, July 2nd and Saturday, July 3rd. Both shows begin at 8:00pm.
Tickets are $100.00 and $85.00 and go on sale Friday, February 5th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. Bublé’s platinum plus CD Crazy Love debuted on the Billboard Top 200 charts at #1 in October and has been the #1 album on Billboard’s Traditional Jazz charts for the last sixteen weeks with no signs of slowing down. In addition, he won his second Grammy award this year for “Best Traditional Pop Album” for Michael Bublé Meets Madison Square Garden.
