Mohegan Sun’s Winning Authors welcomes New York Times best-selling author Karin Slaughter. The beloved author will host a live discussion on Saturday, June 26th in The Cabaret Theatre at 2:00pm followed by a book signing in The Shops at Mohegan Sun at 3:00pm.  Slaughter’s latest suspense novel, Broken, is set for release on June 22nd and will be available in Spin Street.  Slaughter’s appearance in Mohegan Sun’s Winning Authors places her in a class of authors such as Harlan Coben, Sue Grafton, Nora Roberts, Robin Cook, Lee Child and John Saul. 
Karin Slaughter, a Georgia native, is a best-selling author who has sold over sixteen million books worldwide, which includes the fan favorites Undone, Fractured and Faithless.  Her novel Beyond Reach became Publishers Weekly Best Book of the Year.  In Broken, Slaughter takes readers through a sinister journey that aims to unveil the real truth behind a sudden, highly-suspicious suicide that soon becomes ruled a homicide.  What follows is an intense, well-crafted suspense ride with shocking character twists and a plot that brings to light hidden secrets behind murder, motive and deception.
