The newest incarnation of Sublime launches its first U.S. tour and will take the stage on Saturday, August 14th
Sublime with Rome, a collaboration between Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh of Sublime and gifted singer and guitarist Rome Ramirez, recently launched a six-month series of concerts in the U.S., which will be hitting Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, August 14th at 8:00pm with special guest The Dirty Heads.
Tickets are $30.00 and go on sale Saturday, June 12th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office starting Sunday, June 13th, subject to availability.
Sublime with Rome is currently working on their debut album which is due for release next year. The trio of musicians debuted in February of 2009 in Nevada, followed by an appearance at Cypress Hill’s Smokeout Festival the following October. Their mix of Ska, Punk and Alternative Rock carries a devoted fan base that has followed them since the original band Sublime formed in 1988.
Opening for Sublime with Rome will be The Dirty Heads. Rolling Stone Magazine has touted them as one of the “Best New Bands of 2010” with their mix of Reggae and Rock. The band has toured the U.S. on many occasions with bands such as 311, Pepper, Kottonmouth Kings, Unwritten Law and Matisyahu. Their latest single “Lay Me Down” featuring Rome Ramirez of Sublime with Rome is #1 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart.
