ABOUT SWIN CASH: Born in Pennsylvania, Swin Cash quickly became one of UConn Women’s Basketball’s “golden girls” after helping to lead them to 2 NCAA championships, one of which was an undefeated, 39-0 season.  After graduating in 2002 as an All-American, Swin was selected 2nd overall in the 2002 WNBA draft by the Detroit Shock.   While in Detroit, she helped lead the Shock to 2 WNBA championships including the organization’s first ever championship title.  Swin then went on to play for the Seattle Storm and the Chicago Sky, where she plays today.  In 2004 & 2012, she was part of the United States Women’s Olympic Basketball teams to win gold medals.
Swin has a heavy hand in charity work through the WNBA and as the founder of her own organization, Cash for Kids, which helps to motivate, educate and elevate kids.  Swin is set to release her first book titled Humble Journey: More Precious Than Gold, which comes out March 6th and is about her journey through her professional and personal life and the lessons she has learned along the way.
