Little Big Town are soaring on the strength of the universally lauded single “Girl Crush.” The ballad scored the quartet a Single of the Year nomination and Song of the Year recognition for its writers Liz Rose, Lori McKenna and Hillary Lindsey. Little Big Town are also nominated for Vocal Group of the Year, Video of the Year (“Girl Crush“), Musical Event (for “Smokin’ and Drinkin'” with Miranda Lambert) and Album of the Year for their sixth studio effort, Pain Killer, for the 2015 CMA Awards
After their wildly successful album Tornado, Little Big Town’s prescription for continued success and creative drive was in their sixth album, Pain Killer. The two years between Tornado’s and Painkiller’s release proved to be the most formative and motivational for the inspired family of artists, together since 1998. In that time, Little Big Town earned two #1 radio hits with Tornado and Pontoon, a Grammy, two ACM and three CMA awards and an Emmy. They also found time to headline a sold-out tour, join Keith Urban across North America and host the CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock, twice.

Mohegan Sun Arena is now ranked consistently among the top venues in the world according to Billboard Magazine, Pollstar and Venues Today. It has won “Casino of The Year” at the Country Music Awards in 2008 & 2010 and in 2013, was voted “Arena Of The Year” at the G2E Global Gaming Conference in Las Vegas. Also in 2013, Mohegan Sun won “Casino of The Year” in 2 categories at the Academy of Country Music Awards.
