Tickets go on sale Friday, July 29th
The 1975 have announced that they will return stateside this fall for a North American headline tour in support of their #1 US and UK sophomore album, I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it (Dirty Hit / Interscope Records). The UK art-pop quartet will kick off their tour in Phoenix, AZ on October 13th at Comerica Theatre and will hit Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut on Saturday, November 5th at 8:00pm.
Tickets are $35.00 and go on sale Friday, July 29th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office starting Saturday, July 30th, subject to availability.
Following their North American run, the band heads to the UK for a December arena tour which includes two dates at London’s The 02 Arena, the first of which sold out in less than three hours. The new shows will form part of a series of concerts that will be toured worldwide with expanded visuals and a brand new set list including songs that have never been played live. The 1975’s constantly evolving performance will fuse art and technology to create a unique live experience.
Mohegan Sun Arena is now ranked consistently among the top venues in the world according to Billboard Magazine, Pollstar and Venues Today. It has won “Casino of The Year” at the Country Music Awards in 2008 & 2010 and in 2013, was voted “Arena Of The Year” at the G2E Global Gaming Conference in Las Vegas.
