Sunhee Lee debuted in 1983 with her first hit song called “Dear J.” Since then Lee has released 15 albums. Her true testament of her long and illustrious musical career won her numerous titles including National Diva, Queen of Vocalist, Mother of OST, Small Giant, and Evergreen Girl in South Korea. She is considered one of the top divas and balladeer in her country. Her albums won countless top-chart hits and awards including Best Performer’s Award, Golden Disk Award, along with 15 different official music awards from major broadcasting companies and Korean Broadcasting stations.
Ms. Lee is recognized as one of the most sought after female singer who has been invited to perform at various national events such as the World cup 2002 Korea/Japan ceremony. Her signature Rock song “Beautiful Rivers and Mountains” is still utilized for many national events in her country. Internationally she has performed in numerous concerts including her 2011 solo concert at the Carnegie Hall in New York City and “Spring is Coming” concert at Pyongyang, North Korea in 2018. She expanded her music career into musicals like “the Wizard of OZ,” and “Peter Pan” in South Korea.
She is recognized as one of the most respected performers in South Korea. Over the years, her music style of Ballad and Rock music with fully supported voice remained the same.
