Anthony “The Big A” Stabile has spent the past 25 years talking and writing about horse racing. Stabile was the backup announcer on the New York Racing Association circuit for the last five years and he has also called races at The Meadowlands and Freehold Raceway. During his time at NYRA, Stabile also co-hosted the Talking Horses handicapping show as well as America’s Day at the Races and Saratoga Live on the Fox Sports family of networks. Stabile has been the virtual racetrack announcer at Mohegan Sun since 2003, and his handicapping and horseracing insights were heard on a variety of programs on Horse Racing Radio Network between 2014 and 2021.
