UNCASVILLE, CT (October 12, 2026) – During a special backstage ceremony ahead of her sold-out performance on Saturday, October 10th, country music superstar Lainey Wilson was inducted into Mohegan Sun Arena’s Walk of Fame by Mohegan Tribal Chairman James Gessner Jr., Mohegan Sun President & General Manager Jeff Hamilton, and Mohegan VP of Sports & Entertainment Joe Soper. Wilson became the 43rd inductee, joining a roster that includes Kevin Hart, Kenny Chesney, Luke Combs, Bon Jovi and many other acclaimed entertainers who have multiple sell-out shows at Mohegan Sun Arena. The honor came during Mohegan Sun’s30th Birthday Celebration Weekend that began on October 9th and also featured a sold-out solo performance by John Mayer, a concert by Flo Rida in the legendary Wolf Den, a special appearance performance that electrified Uncas Ballroom by 50 Cent, and additional entertainment, promotions and festivities across the property, including a ceremonial birthday cake cutting led by reality television star Kyle Cooke.

Opening Ceremony
WTNH’s Gil Simmons will once again serve as MCfor the opening ceremony, set for 11:00am in The Shops at Mohegan Sun. The November 14th event marks his 10th year hosting this special opening ceremony. This ceremony begins with a presentation of Colors from the Mohegan Tribal Veterans Association and Mohegan Sun Veterans, followed by a national anthem. Remarks and words of appreciation will then follow by Jeff Hamilton, President and General Manager of Mohegan Sun, and other notable guest speakers.
The ceremony will set the tone for a meaningful day dedicated to honoring the service, sacrifice, and commitment of America’s military community.
Vets Rock Expo
From Noon to 4:00pm in the Uncas Ballroom, the Vets Rock Expo will connect veterans and active-duty military members with valuable resources, including a job fair, veteran service organizations, veteran-owned businesses, and programs designed to make an impact. YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS AT THE DOCKSIDE
Upon arrival through an extension at Casino of the Sky near Star Bar at Mohegan Sun, visitors step into Dockside Boarding, where they will board the ship of dreams as though leaving Southampton Harbour on their trans-Atlantic crossing.
The sounds of seagulls, steam engines and a bustling harbor surround visitors as they make their way along the pier and prepare to board the iconic ship. From the very first moments, Augmented Reality and interactive storytelling begin revealing the people, artifacts and lesser-known stories behind Titanic’s historic voyage.
STEP ABOARD TITANIC
The journey continues through the humble corridors of third class before opening into the main hall, where carefully curated historical content explores the people and social history surrounding the ship and its passengers.
From there, guests enter the elegance of a first-class lounge, experiencing the opulence and extravagance that made first-class travel aboard Titanic unlike anything else of its time.
A remarkable collection of original artifacts — including china, silverware, and personal items — is displayed alongside props from the Titanic movie, costume replicas and additional pieces that bring visitors closer to the world of the legendary liner.

One of the experience’s most powerful moments follows in the breathtaking Virtual Reality experience, “Until the Orchestra Fell Silent!” This moving tribute celebrates Titanic’s famous orchestra and the musicians whose story has become an enduring part of the ship’s legacy.
Through Virtual Reality, guests are immersed in an emotionally charged performance featuring a newly composed piece by René Merkelbach, inspired by “Nearer, My God, to Thee,” believed to have been the final song played aboard the ship.
It is an intimate and deeply moving reimagining of one of Titanic’s most legendary moments.

The scale of the experience expands dramatically as visitors enter a vast immersive showroom featuring spectacular 360° floor-to-ceiling projections. Here, audiences are surrounded by Titanic’s story as state-of-the-art visuals and emotional storytelling chart the ship’s journey – from its construction and celebrated maiden voyage to the events of April 14-15, 1912.
At the heart of the immersive narrative is the story of the fictional Callaghan family, a father and daughter travelling aboard Titanic, whose journey offers audiences a deeply personal perspective on the events unfolding around them.

“To Whom It May Concern” was written earlier this year and recorded at Howerdel’s Lankershim Ranch Studio in Studio City, Calif. Howerdel produced the track, Matty Green (U2, Florence + the Machine, TV on the Radio) mixed it, and longtime collaborator Josh Freese plays drums.
Formed in 1999 by guitarist Billy Howerdel and vocalist Maynard James Keenan, A Perfect Circle released their debut album, Mer de Noms, in 2000. Actor, comedian, writer, and entrepreneur Tom Segura is one of the biggest names in the comedy business. Following his highly successful I’m Coming Everywhere World Tour, where he played over 300 shows, Segura completed his Come Together Tour, which sold out venues around the world and culminated with the release of his Netflix comedy special Teacher on Christmas Eve 2025.
