UNCASVILLE, CT (October 30, 2024) – Mohegan Sun, home to two unique casinos, an award-winning hotel and spa, top-ranking entertainment venues, 30+ dining experiences and the 130,000 square-foot Shops at Mohegan Sun which includes the only Tesla full-scale Sales & Delivery Center in the state, has rolled out 60 brand-new Destination Chargers for electric vehicle (EV) drivers. This now makes Mohegan Sun a hub for charging up, and home to the most Tesla chargers at one location in all of Connecticut.

Available 24/7, these new self-park public Tesla Destination Chargers at Mohegan Sun are available on Level Four of the Indian Summer Garage, Level Three of the Riverview Garage and Level Two of Winter Garage. These destination chargers are popular options for charging EVs at hotels, restaurants and resorts, which is why they’re a perfect fit for Mohegan Sun, one of the largest and most impressive casino & entertainment destinations in the world. Destination Chargers at Mohegan Sun provide roughly 44 miles of range per hour.
When guests arrive at a Destination Charger at Mohegan Sun, Tesla drivers can simply plug in to activate a session. All other electric vehicle Drivers access the Tesla ecosystem by scanning the QR code on the charger and following simple instructions for payment from there. Event to feature a special Q&A session with Boston legends Manny Ramirez, Johnny Damon, and more
Guests are invited to Mohegan Sun’snovelle to step back in time and relive one of the most iconic moments in baseball history at Reverse The Curse: 20 Year Anniversary! From 8:00pm – 9:00pm on November 9th, those in attendance will be able to listen in on a Q&A with Manny Ramirez, Johnny Damon, Mike Timlin, Alan Embree, and Keith Foulke as they relive the historic and career defining 2004 post-season.
Twenty years ago on October 27, 2004, Ramirez, Damon and the rest of their team won the most prominent game of the professional baseball season and broke their team’s 86-year long curse! To get there, this team of big bats and special pitchers needed to go through rivals out of New York, and did so in unprecedented fashion coming back from an 0-3 deficit. Celebrated broadcaster Jayme Parker of Outside the Fame, will dive into it all, and help give Boston fans a glimpse into the past and present as these former champions share stories, reminisce and go behind-the-scenes!

UNCASVILLE, CT (October 1, 2024) – This past Saturday evening, on September 28th, Mohegan Sun’s revamped outdoor Sun Patio venue played host to an all-ages event featuring a popular Taylor Swift tribute band. A crowd of more than 2,150 enjoyed the special evening of their favorite hit songs, fun activities, and food trucks by way of Philly’s, Supreme Hot Dogs and NoRA Cupcake Company.
“We made some major improvements to the outdoor space known as Sun Patio ahead of the summer and with that, Mohegan Sun successfully hosted a variety of events, including 30+ free concerts,” -said Jeff Hamilton, President & GM of Mohegan Sun. “This Taylor Swift celebration was a tremendous showcase of what we envisioned for this unique outdoor amenity, and it became the largest ticketed event yet hosted on the new Sun Patio, with more than 2,150 enjoying the special event!”
Officially billed as “Are you Ready For iT? A Musical Tribute,” a talented tribute band based in Connecticut hit the stage just after 6:00pm. Using costumes, choreography and signature elements from Taylor’s performances, the band captured the thrill of one of the most iconic acts in music today. In addition to a night filled with chart-topping renditions, the event featured group seating around fire pits, delicious bites, a photo booth and a friendship bracelet station.

UNCASVILLE, CT(September 5, 2024) – The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame announced that tickets for all regular-season college basketball events at Mohegan Sun will go on sale starting Friday, September 6. Tickets for the Basketball Hall of Fame Enshrinement Game (exhibition) will go on sale starting Friday, September 13.
The 10,000-seat Mohegan Sun Arena will host 20 college basketball games this upcoming season, making Mohegan Sun the place to be for basketball fans this winter.
