UNCASVILLE, CT (April 11, 2024) – Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Cheap Trick have announced their 2024 concert dates including a show inside Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday, August 4th at 7:30pm.
Tickets go on sale Friday, April 12th at 10:00am via Ticketmaster.com. Subject to availability, fans of the Rock legends can purchase tickets at the Mohegan Sun Box Office starting on Saturday, April 13th.
Cheap Trick is an indisputable American institution, beloved around the globe since 1974 for their instantly identifiable, hugely influential, brand of Pop Rock ‘n’ Roll. The band – Robin Zander (vocals, rhythm guitar), Rick Nielsen (lead guitar), Tom Petersson (bass guitar), and Daxx Nielsen (drums) – are true pioneers with an unparalleled streak of certifiably classic tunes, from “He’s A Whore,” “California Man” and “Dream Police” to “Surrender” and “I Want You To Want Me.”
2016 saw Cheap Trick’s long-awaited induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The induction honored both the band and the pioneering sound that has earned them total record sales well more than 20 million featured appearances and more than 40 international gold and platinum certifications. Cheap Trick closed the 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony with a show-stealing performance that prompted Rolling Stone to rave, “Their smoking three-song set (was) played to perfection, with Zander hitting all the notes he hit at Budokan back in 1978.”
In May 2018, the band released their single, “The Summer Looks Good On You.” The Rock & Roll Hall of Famers co-produced the electrifying rocker alongside their long-time collaborator, GRAMMY® Award winner Julian Raymond (Glen Campbell, Fastball).
The song was the first glimpse at the band’s 20th studio album, IN ANOTHER WORLD, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Rock Chart upon its release in Spring 2021, their highest first week chart placement in their long, remarkable career. The record also bowed at #1 on the “Record Label Independent Current Albums” chart, #5 “Current Digital,” #6 “Top Current,” #6 “Internet,” #7 Top Albums,” and #10 “Digital.” To add to the excitement, the album’s single, “Light Up The Fire,” peaked at #1 at Classic Rock Radio both Mediabase and BDS.

UNCASVILLE, CT (April 9, 2024) – Roger Daltrey – legendary Rock icon and co-founder of one of music’s most inspirational and influential forces, The Who, will be returning to the States on a special solo tour this Summer including a stop at Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday, June 23rd. His 7:00pm show will feature a mostly acoustic set of Who gems, rarities, solo nuggets, and other surprises with an intimate Rock-based band and setting as well as answering questions from the audience. Special guest, Grammy-nominated, Scottish, singer/songwriter KT Tunstall will provide support for the much-anticipated performance.

Inducted into the Rock and Hall of Fame with The Who in 1990, Daltrey received a Lifetime Achievement award from the Grammy Foundation along with the band in 2001. Daltrey and The Who co-founder Pete Townshend received Kennedy Center Honors in 2008. Considered to have one of the most recognizable singing voices of all time, Planet Rock listeners voted Daltrey Rock’s fifth-greatest voice in music history. He also received stellar reviews for his unique 2018 autobiography, Thanks a Lot Mr. Kibblewhite, with one critic describing it as how ‘the punk became Rock’s Godfather…’ Known for his magnetic presence and rebellious creative spirit, Daltrey has also been an actor and film producer, with multiple roles in films, theatre, and television.
He’s released ten solo studio albums, including the acclaimed discs Daltrey, Ride a Rock Horse, One of the Boys, and the 2018 release As Long As I Have You, and such hit singles as “I’m Free,” “Giving It All Away,” “Without Your Love,” “Free Me” and “After the Fire.” His solo work has been compiled into two anthologies, Martyrs and Madmen (1997) and Moonlighting (2005). Queen Elizabeth awarded him a CBE for his service to music and charity in 2004.

Ace Frehley
The only thing more recognizable than Ace Frehley’s signature “Spaceman” makeup is his guitar playing. Those thundering riffs and singable solos have enshrined him as one of the most influential, inspiring, and impactful musicians of all time. Among hundreds of accolades, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame® inducted him in 2014 as a Co-founder and the original lead guitarist of Kiss. As it turns out, the man who once sang “Shock Me” is as much of a livewire as ever in 2024 and beyond.
Slaughter
With over 30 years of Rock and Roll under their belt, Slaughter hit radio, MTV and the U.S. touring circuit like a tornado- coming seemingly out of nowhere to roll through everything in its path and turn it upside down. Touring the world with bands that they loved, Kiss, Ozzy, and others meant the good times were just a song away, and their first hit single, “Up All Night” certainly fit into that mold, their second chart-topper, “Fly To The Angels” was more representative of the spirituality and awareness that goes into most of the band’s music and lyrics. Slaughter has shown that with perseverance and sheer talent, a band can survive and win over the support of fans, regardless of what others may say about the quality of their music. What’s most important is that their music is still here and most critics who panned them in the past are not, and that’s as good as gold.
Aldo Nova
After four decades, dozens of classic songs, and hundreds of shows, multi-platinum GRAMMY® Award-winning singer, songwriter, producer, guitarist, and multi-instrumentalist Aldo Nova can finally be seen live after a long self-imposed hiatus. He has toured the world with bands like Cheap Trick, Hall and Oates, Sammy Hagar, Blue Öyster Cult, and as a headlining act. He was also the musical director for Cindy Lauper during her tour of Japan and Australia and with both biggest stars in France, Johnny Halliday and Patrick Bruel. One of the most successful singer/songwriters in music, with well over 900 songs to his credit and 100 million albums sold, Paul Anka has the distinction of being the only artist in history to have a song on the Billboard charts during seven consecutive decades. His instantly recognizable hits include “Put Your Head on My Shoulder,” “Diana,” “My Way” and “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson” theme. Anka’s amazingly long career started in 1957, when his song “Diana” sold 20 million records, followed by numerous other hits, including “Puppy Love,” Lonely Boy,” “My Home Town” and “It Doesn’t Matter Anymore” for Buddy Holly, among many others.
At 81 years old, Paul Anka continues to write and record. His latest two albums, Making Memories and Sessions were released in 2021 and 2022 respectively.
