Beloved comedian and actor returns to Mohegan Sun Arena for the first time since 2022
Following successful sold-out performances in 2022 and 2023, critically acclaimed comedian Adam Sandler announces his new tour – the You’re My Best Friend Tour. The fall 2025 arena tour will bring Sandler to more than 30 cities across North America, including a return to Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, September 26th for an unforgettable 7:30pm show.
Tickets for Sandler’s highly anticipated show go on sale on Friday, June 27th at 12:00pm via Ticketmaster.com. Comedy fans can purchase tickets at the Mohegan Sun Box Office beginning on Saturday, June 28th, subject to availability.
Adam Sandler needs no introduction, he has found enormous success as an actor, producer, musician, and writer. His last tours in 2022 and 2023 were sold out. The 2024 Netflix special Adam Sandler: Love You was filmed over two days in sold-out concerts in Los Angeles. 100% Fresh, which was Sandler’s first comedy special in twenty years, was released by Netflix in 2018. Warner Bros Records also released the audio companions for both Adam Sandler: I Love You special and 100% Fresh. On screen, audiences can see Sandler in the highly anticipated Happy Gilmore 2 streaming on Netflix on July 25th and the upcoming Noah Baumbach film, Jay Kelly this fall.

Treaty Oak Revival is rooted in the heart of West Texas. The Iconic Group joins the Sun Patio Concert Series lineup for a night of Unforgettable Music and Summer Fun
UNCASVILLE, CT (June 18, 2025) – Get ready to shake things up as legendary group, Village People, bring the ultimate Disco revival to the Sun Patio at Mohegan Sun on Saturday, July 12th, as part of the high-energy Sun Patio Concert Series launched on June 14th with crowd favorite Rock band Buckcherry. TheVillage People are one of the most talented and well-known Disco groups of their era. Their music is part of the international songbook and their debut album, released in 1977, featured the hit singles “San Francisco (You Got Me)” and “In Hollywood (Everybody’s A Star).”
Village People at that time consisted of only Victor Willis and session singers. Eventually, a group was assembled around Willis to perform on American Bandstand. Thus began the creation of Village People.
The guys were soon an international phenomenon with release of the second album titled Macho Man, once again recorded by Victor Willis with use of session singers. Auditions were held for performers to join Victor however prior to the release of the Macho Man album and many answered the call. Village People were finally a bona fide group.
Next was the five-time platinum album Cruisin which featured the blockbuster hit “Y.M.C.A.” After that was the Go West album, and finally Live and Sleazy. Victor Willis then exited the group but not before leaving them with such smash hits as “Y.M.C.A” “Macho Man” “Go West” “In the Navy” “Magic Night” and “Milk Shake.” Village People have sold over 100 million records worldwide!

Roomful of Blues, the world-renowned, horn-powered, house rocking blues band, that has been delighting audiences for over 55 years is set to take the Sun Patio stage from 2:00pm – 3:30pm. On record and on stage, Roomful of Blues—led by master guitarist Chris Vachon for the past 25 years—continues to deliver its bone-shaking mix of original songs and carefully chosen covers ranging from jump, swing and proto rock ‘n’ roll to funky, contemporary blues. Performing from 4:00pm 6:00pm is the Rhode Island-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, Will Evans. Through quotable folk-inspired lyrics, breezy grooves, and roots energy, it’s as if he’s giving you permission to be that pure self you can’t always be at work or even at home. Jeff, a member of the Mohegan Tribe, has over two decades of experience at Mohegan Sun. The alumnus of Seton Hall University and University of New Haven carries both a bachelor’s and master’s degree. Prior to his current position, he worked as the Assistant General Manager and in key management roles within the Advertising and Human Resource departments. As President and General Manager, Hamilton is responsible for achieving overall business objectives, driving strategic planning, and ensuring operational success while also overseeing project development, marketing and fiscal planning, technology, and visitor experience.
Chamber staff surprised Hamilton during a Tribal Council Meeting on February 11 at the Mohegan Community and Government Center with the distinction.
“It is with great honor that we (the Chamber) present Jeff with our 74 Annual Citizen of the Year award. His unwavering commitment to both the success of the Mohegan Sun and Tribe and the betterment of our community reflects the true spirit of what it means to be a leader. Today, we celebrate not only the incredible achievements of his career but also the continuous impact he will have on our region and beyond,” states Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT President, Tony Sheridan.
Citizen of the Year is an annual award given to an extraordinary individual for their outstanding contributions to the civic and business communities of the region. Most recent honorees include Mike Buscetto (Filomena’s; Cactus Jack Foundation), Chief Lynn Malerba (Mohegan Tribe; Former U.S. Treasurer), and Dr. John Burkhardt (Pfizer, Retired).
Hamilton was chosen not only for his longstanding leadership at Mohegan, but for also proudly serving on the Board of Directors for the United Way of Southeastern Connecticut – where he was awarded the Chairman’s Award of Excellence for increasing Mohegan Sun employees’ participation by 23% in the 2019-20 United Way Campaign efforts. Additionally, he is an active board member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (CT Chapter), a member of the Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) State of CT Advisory Council, and member of the State of CT Tourism Council.
Jeff notably has also spearheaded the Tribe and Sun’s mutual efforts in supporting The Governor’s Prevention Partnership, a pivotal public-private initiative established in 1989, which combats substance and alcohol abuse among state youth through generous Casino/Tribe donations and program mentorship.
“I am truly honored to be recognized by the Chamber of Commerce for Eastern CT as Citizen of the Year,” said Jeff Hamilton, President and General Manager of Mohegan Sun.
“I have been blessed to work alongside so many great people over the last 20 years that have assisted and guided me not only in my career journey at Mohegan Sun, but with work that I have been able to enjoy with many great philanthropic organizations in our community as well.
