$400 No Limit Hold’em Tournament Takes Place August 14th – 16th
UNCASVILLE, CT (July 17, 2026) – Poker players looking to make their mark this summer can take their shot at a share of $75,000 guaranteed during the Mohegan Sun Summer Showdown Poker Tournament, taking place Friday, August 14th through Sunday, August 16th in the Mohegan Sun Poker Room. This No Limit Hold’em tournament will award 12% of the field with prize money, giving competitors multiple opportunities to battle for a share of the guaranteed prize pool during three days of exciting tournament action.
Players will compete for a share of the $75,000 guaranteed prize pool with a $400 entry fee ($335 buy-in + $65 entry fee), offering poker enthusiasts from across the region the chance to play for a major payday. Participants will also have the option to purchase a 5,000 chip add-on for $10. On-site registration will take place in the Mohegan Sun Poker Room one hour before the start of each flight and will remain open through the beginning of level seven. UNCASVILLE, CT (July 13, 2026) – Mohegan Sun’s Summer Blackjack Tournament Series gives guests the chance to compete for a share of more than $100,000 in total prizes this summer. With eight tournaments remaining, eligible Momentum Rewards members can participate every Wednesday through September 2nd for a shot at a $10,000 weekly prize pool. “Enlisting renowned artists Abe Waterman and Greg J. Weighing an estimated 10 tons, this sculpture was crafted entirely from sand by the award-winning team at Professional Sculptors, LLC, featuring celebrated artists Abe Waterman and Greg J. Grady, also known professionally as “G2.” This year, the sculpture prominently features the late Dr. Gladys Tantaquidgeon, a revered Mohegan Medicine Woman, co-founder of the Tantaquidgeon Museum, and Native American advocate and educator. The installation honors her enduring legacy and brings to life Mohegan symbols and stories, providing guests with a memorable cultural experience.

The night comes alive with a dynamic lineup of entertainment, headlined by Badder Bunny, the definitive Bad Bunny tribute show delivering an electrifying homage to one of Latin music’s biggest global stars.
