It’s Valentine’s Day for two at Todd English’s Tuscany with a 4-course meal, starting with the choice of a Caesar or Bibb Salad, followed by an Appetizer or Flatbread to share. Choose Spaghetti and Meatballs, 6-ounce Filet Mignon, Crispy Skin Salmon or Chicken Parmesan for the third course and an individual Petit Fallen Chocolate Cake for dessert. Birches Bar & Grill will feature a Valentine’s Day meal that includes Soup Du Jour or House Salad as an appetizer, a choice of Baked Stuffed Salmon with Crabmeat Stuffing and Sherry Lobster Cream Sauce, Sautéed Green Beans Provençal and Wild Rice Pilaf, or Twin Tornadoes of Beef with a Teriyaki Glaze, Asparagus Spears and Garlic Mashed Potatoes as an entrée, followed by the Chef’s Dessert Selection. Big Bubba’s BBQ will be celebrating Valentine’s Day with a dinner special from February 11th – 14th. The meal starts with a Korbel Champagne toast and includes a Garden Salad and Filet Mignon with Sautéed Shrimp, Vegetables & Potatoes as well as a Cheesecake with Strawberry Sauce for dessert. This dinner can be purchased at $49.95 per person.
Lucky’s Lounge & The Dubliner will feature a $40.00 4-course dinner for two over Valentine’s Day weekend which includes a choice of Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes with Fire-Roasted Red Pepper Aioli or Sausage & Gorgonzola Stuffed Portabella Mushroom Caps topped with Wilted Baby Spinach and a Balsamic Glaze for an appetizer, a choice of Oven Roasted Herbed Chicken with Roasted Fingerling Potatoes and Glazed Carrots, Coffee Rubbed Skirt Steak with Horseradish Red Bliss Smashed Potatoes and Steamed Broccoli or Baked Atlantic Cod with Buttery Ritz Crumbs, Jasmine Rice and Spring Greens topped with Lemon Buerre Blanc as an entrée and either Apple Crumb Cake or Chocolate Truffle Cake to round out the meal.

Valentine’s Day Weekend is packing a one-two punch on Friday, February 10th when Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing returns to Mohegan Sun Arena with a hard hitting double-header of ESPN’s Friday Night Fights. On the softer side of entertainment, the arena will present Concierto Del Amor featuring Olga Tanon, Hector Acosta “El Torito” and Charlie Zaa on Saturday, February 11th.

Northeast’s premier entertainment destination transforms into a tropical paradise this January
UNCASVILLE, CT – There’s no need to hop a seaplane or go aboard a ferry to island hop this winter. Just head over to 
Mohegan Sun this January for a special weekend of island hopping fun under the Sun!
On Saturday, January 14th, escape the winter blues with Mohegan Sun’s Island Hop party- where the 130,000 square-foot Shops concourse will be transformed into a tropical paradise complete with a tiki bar, steel drummers, Island Oasis signature drinks, a live DJ and more. Food, drink and retail specials will also be featured at a number of restaurants and retailers throughout the property including Ballo Italian Restaurant & Social Club, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, Jasper White’s Summer Shack and Tommy Bahama, among several others.
As part of Island Hop at Mohegan Sun, guests will receive their very own Mohegan Sun “passport.” Each time a guest ‘island hops’ at any of the participating retailers or restaurants, they will receive a stamp. Once they collect at least three stamps, they can enter to win an eight day (seven night) Celebrity Cruise! The prize, valued at over $4,000, includes balcony cabin accommodations, all meals, entertainment, taxes and tips.

Treat Mom to dining, shopping, entertainment and spa specials this Mother’s Day at Mohegan Sun
May 8th is just around the corner and that means it’s time to start thinking about how to treat Mom to a great time on her special day. Mohegan Sun may be just the place with fine restaurants, Elemis Spa specials, superb entertainment and endless shopping possibilities.
DINING OFFERINGS
Todd English’s Tuscany will prepare a four-course meal starting with Tuna Tartare with Spicy Mayo and Kettle Chips. It’s followed by a Cashew Crusted Lamb Chop served with Celery Salad and Parmesan Polenta. Next up will be the main course that features a succulent Petit Filet Mignon served over Seared Foie Gras, Silk Potatoes and Tuscan Demi. A classic Root Beer Float, along with baked-to-order Chocolate Chip Cookies, rounds out the meal. The special will be offered at $55.00 per person or $90.00 per person with wine pairings from 4:00pm to 10:00pm.
Birches Bar & Grill will offer a three-course meal that starts out with a choice of Soup Du Jour, Birches House Salad with Sweet-Herb Vinaigrette or a classic Caesar Salad. The entrée will be Surf & Turf that features a 6 oz. Filet Mignon & two Baked Seafood Stuffed Shrimp and will include delicious sides of Chef’s Vegetables and Rice Pilaf. A Heart-Shaped Strawberry Panna Cotta on a Cookie Crust topped with Chocolate Sauce will be served for dessert. The meal will be offered at $38.00 per person from 10:00am to 3:30am.
At Big Bubba’s BBQ, a special dinner consisting of Smoked Prime Rib with a Twice Baked Potato plus an additional side will be prepared for $21.95 per person.
Over at Jasper White’s Summer Shack, a Mixed Green Salad will be served followed by a 16 oz. Filet Mignon with a Chicken Lobster Tail served with Mashed Potatoes and Lobster Bordelaise. This meal is $50.00 per person and will be accompanied by a glass of champagne. Mothers will also receive a special Chocolate Covered Strawberry for dessert.
Sunburst Buffet will be offering a range of great Beef & Poultry, Seafood and plenty more. Some of the featured items include Penne & Grilled Chicken Alfredo, Shrimp & Asparagus Risotto with Shaved Parmesan, Veal Contadina, Seared Maple Mustard Glazed Salmon, a Breast of Chicken Francaise and Lobster & Roasted Tomato Shells “n” Cheese. Sides will include Fresh Mashed Potatoes, Sautéed Green Beans and Toasted Orzo & Almond Rice Pilaf. At 5:00pm, Prime Rib will also be available at the carving section. Meals are offered at $19.81 per person ($23.58 after 5:00pm) and $10.37 for children between the ages of six and twelve ($12.76 after 5:00pm).
Finally, over at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, all mothers will be offered a free Oreo Crumble Dessert that features Ice Cream topped with Chocolate Sauce and crushed Oreo Cookies.
HOTEL & SPA SPECIALS

ENTERTAINMENT
On Mother’s Day, the Wolf Den will be featuring the Grammy-nominated Blues Pianist Al Copley at 7:00pm.
The Wolf Den is free and entrance is on a first-come, first-served basis. All guests must be 21 years of age or older.
