Tickets include access to hand-passed cocktails and delicious appetizers. From 9:00pm – 11:00pm, guests can head over to A.T.Y. Bar & Bonbons for Tinis & Treats, an exclusive evening dedicated to the incredible flavors from Sift Bake Shop and A.T.Y. Bar & Bonbons. 11th Annual Benefit to take place in the Uncas Ballroom on Saturday, November 15th; Veterans Day promotions at Mohegan Sun also include a $15,000 Slot Tournament where those with a valid Military ID get Free Entry
UNCASVILLE, CT (September 18, 2025) – On Saturday, November 15th, Mohegan Sun is set to celebrate active-duty military and veterans at the 11th Annual Vets Rock. This event is a heartfelt tribute to our nation’s heroes who inspire us with their courage and commitment. Vets Rock 2025 will feature valuable programs that focus on enhancing the lives of veterans and active-duty military members through a job fair, veteran service organizations, veteran-owned businesses, and other resources. This event is free and open to all ages. Following the Vets Rock Expo, guests can head over to the Wolf Den for free Dave Bray USA show!
Opening Ceremony
The day begins with a stirring Opening Ceremony hosted by WTNH’s Gil Simmons from 11:00am to Noon at The Shops at Mohegan Sun, in front of the Box Office. The Tribal Color Guard will lead the way with a vibrant presentation, followed by heartfelt remarks from Mohegan Sun’s Executive Team and distinguished guest speakers. A local school choir will lend their voices to a moving rendition of the National Anthem, setting the tone for a day of unity and honor. After the opening ceremony, guests are invited to continue the celebration in the Uncas Ballroom, where every handshake, resource, and conversation honors the journey of those who serve.
Vets Rock Expo
From Noon – 4:00pm, guests of all ages are invited to attend the free Vets Rock Expo in the Uncas Ballroom at Mohegan Sun. This dynamic event will bring together a powerful lineup of resources designed to uplift and support those who’ve served. From a robust job fair and veteran service organizations to veteran-owned businesses and life-enhancing programs, Vets Rock is more than a celebration – it’s a movement of gratitude and growth. Vets Rock 2025 will also feature free flu shots for all those in attendance and Casino 101 which is free Blackjack and Roulette lessons for guests 21 years of age or older.

Also happening on Saturday, November 15th is a free Dave Bray USA show in the Wolf Den at 8:00pm. Dave is a USN/USMC Veteran who considers his “Music on a Mission” to be a continuation of his Service. He has dedicated his career to honoring our American Heroes – our police, firefighters, military and veterans. Dave has over a decade of touring experience, six studio albums and millions of streams across all platforms. Dave has performed with Rock Legends Aerosmith, Shinedown, Lynyrd Skynyrd, as well as Country stars Charlie Daniels, Travis Tritt, Brantley Gilbert, Hank Williams Jr., and Toby Keith! Veterans Day Promotions
Mohegan Sun will be hosting a $15,000 Slot Tournament on Veterans Day (Tuesday, November 11th) and any Momentum member with a valid military ID is eligible for one free entry into the tournament. This tournament will take place from 4:00pm – 8:00pm at the Sky Slot Tournament Zone. Additionally, Veterans Day Pins will be distributed to guests at 10:00am on Tuesday, November 11th at the Winter, Summer, and Riverview entrances.

Free, Family-friendly Fall Event Featuring Outdoor Screenings of The Goonies and Halloween 2007

IN DETAIL: On Friday, October 3rd, guests can enjoy a double feature evening on the Sun Patio, where crisp autumn air meets cozy community vibes. Enjoy being surrounded by the glow of fall festivities like pumpkin decorating and face painting and the scent of something delicious in the air from food trucks such as Bear’s Smokehouse BBQ and Philly’s. This free event is open to all ages, with doors opening at 5:30pm. Guests are encouraged to gather their friends and family and dress in their warmest sweater or favorite costume for an autumn night to remember.
Fire pit seating is available to reserve for $25 per seat, which includes a complimentary beverage or a slice of pizza with soda or water. All seating will be reserved on a per movie basis. Additional seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. However, guests can feel free to bring their own chairs.

On Saturday, October 25th from 3:00pm – 6:00pm, the Earth Expo & Convention Center will be transformed into a vibrant celebration of craft and community, where bold brews and flavor take center stage. Tickets to the 12th Annual Sun BrewFest are on sale now via ticketmaster.com and the Mohegan Sun Box Office, subject to availability. Additionally, designated driver tickets will be available for those who are skipping alcohol, but still want to enjoy the entertainment, activities, and great food at Sun BrewFest.
Sun BrewFest, one of Mohegan Sun’s most popular annual festivals, allows guests to experience a curated collection of more than 100 standout regional brews, with each pour included in the price of admission. From hoppy IPAs to smooth stouts, every sip is a toast to craftsmanship. UNCASVILLE, CT (July 9, 2025) – Special Olympics Connecticut invites thrill-seeking individuals and teams to celebrate a milestone and sign up for its 15th Annual Over the Edge event presented and hosted by Mohegan Sun on Friday, August 29th. During Over the Edge, fearless participants will rappel more than 30 floors down Mohegan Sun’s Sky Tower to support Special Olympics’ year-round sports, health and fitness programs for close to 14,000 athletes of all abilities across the state. Those who wish to keep two feet on the ground may donate in honor of participants and to celebrate the event’s 15th anniversary. Spectators are welcome to attend. Over the Edge draws participants from area businesses and corporations, community organizations and law enforcement departments and is open to all. Several Special Olympics athletes are also expected to rappel again this year. Since its inception, more than 1,000 individuals have participated in the event and over $1.5 million has been raised.
Over the Edge participants must weigh at least 100 lbs. and raise a minimum of $1,250 to participate. No rappelling experience is required, as day-of training and continuous support is provided throughout the experience.
