Premier Chinese acrobat troupe perform live on July 18th 
The Golden Dragon Acrobats represent the best of a time-honored tradition that began more than twenty-seven centuries ago. The Golden Dragons are recognized throughout the United States and abroad as the premier Chinese acrobatic touring company of today. The Golden Dragons will be putting on a very special performance inside Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday, July 18th at 4:00pm.

In November 2005, the Golden Dragon Acrobats made their Broadway debut to a sold- out audience at the New Victory Theater, New York’s ultimate theater for kids and families. Their Broadway run over the next six weeks led to adoration and standing ovations from audiences of all ages and universal critical acclaim from the New York press. The run was highlighted by the Golden Dragons receiving two most prestigious New York Drama Desk nominations — Danny Chang for “Unique Theatrical Experience” and Angela Chang for “Best Choreography.”
The 2010 tour will mark the 31st year of continuous touring in the United States for the Golden Dragon Acrobats. With the company’s main office based in Dallas, TX, the Golden Dragons have traveled around the world to all 50 states and to over 65countries on five continents. The members of the current touring company, hailing from Hebei, China, have performed in all 48 lower U.S. states within the last four years to sold out audiences in nearly every major market in the country. The Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun will continue to thrill this spring, beginning with Pop sensation Jordin Sparks on Saturday, May 1st, followed by Country star Dilbert McClinton on Saturday, May 8th. Kara DioGuardi – An Evening of Songs & Stories is live in the Den on Friday, May 14th and John Michael Montgomery will liven up the Wolf Den stage on Saturday, May 15th. Easton Corbin will take over the stage on Sunday, May 23rd. Finally, America’s 40th Anniversary Tour arrives in the Wolf Den on Saturday, May 29th. Jordin Sparks rose to fame as the winner of the sixth season of American Idol. With the 2009 release of her sophomore project Battlefield, Sparks showcases a new look and a confident maturity. The second single off the album, “S.O.S. (Let The Music Play)” is Sparks’ first single to hit #1, climbing to the top of the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart.
Three-time Grammy Award-winning artist Delbert McClinton released his latest album Acquired Taste in 2009, his first new recording in over four years. Over the course of his career, he has charted singles on various Billboard charts including Hot 100, Mainstream Rock Tracks and Hot Country Songs. His highest peaking single was “Tell Me About It,” a 1992 duet with Tanya Tucker, which reached #4 on the U.S. Country charts.
Kara DioGuardi is a music mogul as she is a talented singer/songwriter and producer to list a few of her credentials. She has penned hits for numerous singers such as Celine Dion, Pink and Kelly Clarkson. She also serves as a judge on Fox’s American Idol.
John Michael Montgomery has turned an uncanny ability to relate to fans into one of Country music’s most storied careers. Since the days when “Life’s A Dance” turned him from an unknown artist into a national star, John Michael’s rich baritone has carried the most important of assets: believability.
Easton Corbin is unapologetically Country. His songs, while rooted in the present, call to mind simpler times when the back porch was where folks gathered to network. Steel guitars and fiddles are as much a part of his sound as his baritone drawl. The single, “A Little More Country Than That,” paints a picture of rural life that speaks to Easton’s small town sensibilities.

Mohegan Sun’s original date of May 20th has been rescheduled for Thursday, July 29th
The Simon & Garfunkel tour originally scheduled for April – May is being postponed due to a vocal strain recently sustained by Art Garfunkel. In an effort to provide the highest quality performance for their audience, Paul & Art decided it would be best to move the scheduled concert dates. The dates have been rescheduled to allow for an adequate period of rest and rehabilitation, after which Art is expected to make a complete recovery. Mohegan Sun’s original date of May 20th has been rescheduled for Thursday, July 29th at 8:00pm. Tickets for the May 20th Mohegan Sun date will be honored at the rescheduled date.
Both Paul & Art regret any inconvenience this has caused their fans and are looking forward to seeing them at the rescheduled shows.

Todd English’s Tuscany will prepare a three-course meal starting with Lobster Fegatini in Fennel Brown Butter. It’s followed by Pastrami-Rubbed Duck served over Porcini Dusted Potatoes and Roasted Cipollini Onions and then a Petit Rack of Lamb served with Spring Pea and Mint Risotto with Lamb Jus. Platinum-selling R&B/Pop singer Jordin Sparks will meet fans on Saturday, May 1st
Just before taking the stage in the Wolf Den for an 8:00pm performance, superstar Jordin Sparks will take time to meet and sign autographs for fans as part of Mohegan Sun’s acclaimed Signings & Sightings at 6:00pm on Saturday, May 1 st. This free personal appearance and signing will take place on the Spin Street Stage in The Shops at Mohegan Sun. Jordin will be signing copies of her latest platinum-selling album entitled Battlefield. All Signings & Sightings events are free and open to the public. An exclusive party will be held in the Uncas Ballroom on Saturday, May 1st
Celebrate the 136th “Run for the Roses” at Mohegan Sun on Saturday, May 1st with the annual Mohegan Sun Kentucky Derby Party in the Uncas Ballroom. Festivities kick off at 10:00am, where guests can enjoy great food and drink specials, as well as guest handicappers Jim Mazur from Progressive Handicapping, Inc. and popular WEEI Sports Radio network talk show host Mike Mutnansky will be on-hand.
Guests joining the fun for this exclusive event will be able to take advantage of thirty betting terminals, nine large screens and a delectable Derby Buffet with unique drink specials.
