The Farm Italy: Design-Led Italian Cuisine Anchored by Scratch Cooking
Led by John Tunney and his accomplished restaurant group, The Farm Italy pays homage to traditional Italian aesthetics with sculptural archways, imported greenery and statement lighting that frames the marble-clad bar and colonnaded dining room.
The kitchen is equally impressive: pastas are house-made, sauces simmered from scratch, and dishes like the Pappardelle Bolognese, Branzino and Cacio e Pepe deliver a refined take on regional comfort fare. Mohegan Sun is the first property outside a major metro area to house Beauty & Essex, the culinary experience from TAO Group Hospitality and Chef Chris Santos. Discreetly hidden behind a working pawn shop, the space opens into a multi-room arrangement where Japanese whisky, vintage guitars, and glam speakeasy energy collide.
The menu showcases globally inspired dishes with a twist, including the Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup Dumplings, Wagyu Steak Tartare and Gochujang Salmon. Helmed by Chef Roberto Baez, the concept introduces a casual-yet-refined eatery designed for guests seeking a high-quality meal in a laid-back setting.

SIFT Bake Shop & A.T.Y Bar & Bonbons: Award-Winning Pastries and a Bold New Cocktail Experience
Chef Adam Young, a James Beard semifinalist and Food Network’s “Best Baker in America,” brings his coastal Connecticut cult-favorite bakery, SIFT, to Mohegan Sun. Created with his wife and co-owner, Ebbie Young, the expansion reflects their shared vision of bringing “a little delight to everyone,” a hospitality-first approach that has defined the SIFT brand since the couple opened their first bakery in Mystic nearly a decade ago.

UNCASVILLE, CT (April 9, 2025) – Mohegan Sun and A.T.Y Hospitality celebrated the grand opening of Sift Bake Shop and A.T.Y Bar & Bonbons, presented by Grey Goose, with a special ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, April 8th. Sift Bake Shop and A.T.Y Bar & Bonbons are family-owned concepts created by Pastry Chef Adam Young and his wife, Ebbie, and both venues are located at the Winter Entrance in Casino of the Earth.

Sift Bake Shop is a 2,930 square-foot bakery that features a variety of artisanal breads, breakfast pastries, and sweet & savory delights. All menu items start from scratch with fresh ingredients, and every menu item from Sift Bake Shop is made in-house in a state-of-the-art kitchen. Signature desserts at Sift Bake Shop include the chocolate croissant, the Opera Cake, the Pecan Sticky Bun, and the Carrot Cake Roulade. Guests can also enjoy select gluten-free cookies. Guests can pair their treats with an assortment of coffees, teas, lattes, artisanal beverages and more.
Adjacent to Sift Bake Shop is A.T.Y Bar & Bonbons, presented by Grey Goose. This boutique concept includes a 570 square-foot bar that pairs delicately crafted cocktails, wine and reserves with decadent chocolate bonbons. All bonbons are also created in-house, and to-go packages are specially packaged by hand. A.T.Y also serves small plates, including cheese and charcuterie and the dip trio, comprised of rotating dips with a toasted baguette.
Mohegan Sun’s partnership with A.T.Y Hospitality started in 2019 when Adam Young joined the celebrity chef lineup at one of the property’s largest events, the Sun Wine & Food Fest. At Sun Wine & Food Fest 2025, Adam was the presenting chef at the CT Spotlight featuring Preston Ridge Vineyard, while also participating in the ever-popular Celebrity Chef Dine Around and Sun Wine & Food Fest’s anchor event, the Grand Tasting.

Pastry Chef Adam Young’s popular Sift Bake Shop, featuring A.T.Y Bar & Bonbons, comes to Mohegan Sun in spring 2025!
UNCASVILLE, CT (November 14, 2024) – Mohegan Sun is excited to announce a partnership with A.T.Y Hospitality that brings Sift Bake Shop and A.T.Y Bar & Bonbons to the property this upcoming spring. Located in the Winter Entrance, Sift Bake Shop at Mohegan Sun, a family-owned French inspired bakery, will be the brand’s fourth in New England. Sift Bake Shop specializes in scratch made signature desserts, artisanal breads, pastries, macarons, and more. All items are all made in-house daily celebrating the freshest ingredients and modern techniques, with a nod to the traditional foundations of classic pastry. The establishment owned and operated by Pastry Chef Adam Young delivers high quality, unique and delicious food in a warm and welcoming environment.
Sift Bake Shop at Mohegan Sun will launch in tandem with A.T.Y Bar & Bonbons presented by Grey Goose®, a boutique cocktail bar that inspires elegance in everyday life. Their list of signature cocktails, bonbons and confections are thoughtfully executed with the highest quality of ingredients.
