Todd English’s Tuscany will be hosting a Father’s Day 4 course tasting menu. The specialty dinner will feature a deluxe menu including a wedge salad, ricotta gnocchi, and grilled swordfish in a celeriac puree with watercress salad, radish, shaved fennel, topped with a citrus vinaigrette. Finish off the meal with a small chocolate cake with vanilla gelato for dessert. The dinner is $60.00 per person or $90.00 per person with a wine pairing.
Surf & Turf is on the menu for a spectacular Father’s Day at BALLO Italian Restaurant. Families are invited to bring in their Dads to enjoy shrimp and crispy pecorino potatoes accompanied by a 24 oz. bone-in rib eye for only $57.00.

UNCASVILLE, CT (October 27, 2014) – This Thanksgiving, Mohegan Sun is serving up endless dining and shopping specials for friends, family and loved ones to gobble up!
Enjoy a $34.00 per person meal at Todd English’s Tuscany from 1:00pm-4:00pm. First course boasts wood-roasted pear and gorgonzola salad followed by a second course of sage brined Heritage turkey, sausage and potato stuffing, roasted root vegetables, bacon and dijon brussels sprout petals, sweet potato with pecan crumbles, grappa sauce and giblet gravy. Pecan bread pudding with Tahitian gelato serves as the sweet treat to round out this Thanksgiving meal.
Ballo Italian Restaurant is offering a $42.95 per person, 3-course dinner including your choice of classic Caesar salad, meatballs with pomodoro and ricotta or crispy pork belly with honey crisp apples, radicchio and chili-infused honey to start. Second course is a choice of five deluxe entrées including a rigatoni with spicy sausage ragu and pecorino fonduta, seared shrimp with honey-glazed carrots, walnuts and goat cheese polenta or a ricotta gnocchi with squash, bacon, chestnuts and apples. For dessert, enjoy a pumpkin cannoli with candied walnuts.
Starting at 11:00am, Seasons Buffet is featuring such Thanksgiving classics as rotisserie turkey, apple cider-brined pork chops with cranberry chutney, maple-glazed sweet potatoes, fall vegetable and apple stuffing, caramel apple pie trifle, maple walnut parfait and much more.

Connecticut’s largest BBQ festival heats up the Winter Parking Lot with food, fun and fireworks.
Uncasville, CT (April 28, 2014) – Sizzle into summer at Sun BBQFest and fill your plate with some of the nation’s best BBQ. Soak up the sun, fun and BBQ sauce at the Winter Parking Lot June 20th-22nd. Live entertainment and delicious food provide the perfect summer setting for a chillin’ and grillin’ good time.
Tickets for the event are $5.00 per day and go on sale Friday, May 2nd through the Mohegan Sun Box Office. Kids 6 and under get in free.
BBQ Meats & Good Eats
A weekend of lip smackin’ good food is on the agenda for Sun BBQFest. The Winter Parking Lot will be smokin’ with the best BBQ for guests to sink their teeth into. Countless food vendors and a BBQ competition sanctioned by Kansas City BBQ Society guarantees there will be plenty of food and entertainment to go around.
Guests are invited to stroll and sample all the BBQ they can stomach including food and treats from Johnny Rocket’s, Ben & Jerry’s and more. No festival would be complete without some live entertainment. The Winter Parking Lot spices things up with music, contests and a fireworks show to celebrate summertime and all things BBQ.
Be entertained all weekend long with live music on the main stage. Beach Avenue, Jay Dempsey Band, Red Light and Sugar will be providing the beats for the three-day parking lot party. On Saturday, Sun BBQFest booms with a spectacular fireworks display. The fireworks kick off at 9:15pm and are guaranteed to be fun for the whole family.
