America’s favorite comic and the star of Comedy Central’s highest-rated specials, Jeff Dunham and his beloved cast of characters are bringing his “Disorderly Conduct” worldwide tour to Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT on Saturday, July 12th for an 8:00pm performance.
Tickets are $60.00 and $50.00 and go on sale Friday, March 7th through Ticketmaster at 10:00am. Dunham is best-known for his famed troupe of sidekicks who are on tour with him: Walter the Grumpy Retiree, Achmed the Dead Terrorist, the beer-drinking redneck Bubba J, the manic purple creature Peanut, the spicy pepper from south of the border José Jalapeño and Peanut’s own ventriloquist dummy Little Jeff, a mini-version of the ringmaster himself. Dunham hand-crafts each character personally and brings them to life on stage.
Dunham will be traveling the globe in 2014, visiting the UK, South Africa, Australia, the Middle East and Asia. This follows his travels last year visiting Scandinavia, Belgium, the Netherlands and Iceland, where he continuously performed to sold-out arenas.
Dunham fans, better known as “Dunham Maniacs” will soon get the chance to see Achmed the Dead Terrorist like he’s never been seen before when Jeff Dunham’s first animated film Achmed Saves America premieres in March of 2014. When Achmed visits Americaville, USA, he’s mistaken for a visiting French exchange student as he plots to destroy the town and all of its “infidels”. But, once he’s exposed to the sweet things in life in America — including all-you-can-eat buffets and frozen yogurt — Achmed’s campaign of hate turns into a patriotic All-American lovefest.
Jeff Dunham’s TV specials continue to be some of the highest rated on television. When Dunham’s Comedy Central special Minding the Monsters premiered to a viewing audience of 7.5 million viewers, it became 2012’s most-watched show on the network.. Upon its release on DVD, it was the #1 comedy DVD on Amazon.com and exceeded platinum sales within 6 days. It has already reached triple platinum status. Prior to that, Dunham’s 5th Comedy Central TV special Controlled Chaos, premiered to a staggering 8.3 million viewers and was a never-before simultaneous same day worldwide debut in a dozen countries. He is the largest selling comedy-recording artist in history, a multiple Grammy Award nominee and best-selling author of more than 26 books. Superstar comedian, author and talk show host, Chelsea Handler, is set to embark on a national stand-up comedy tour in support of the release of her fifth book, Uganda Be Kidding Me. The tour heads to Uncasville for a 8:00pm show at Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, May 24th.

Veteran Comedian & Ventriloquist becomes 26th addition to Mohegan Sun’s Walk of Fame
Mohegan Sun had the pleasure of presenting Jeff Dunham, who played Mohegan Sun Arena for the 4th time on Saturday, July 13th, with his own star on the Walk of Fame. The induction took place on Saturday, July 13th at 3:00pm in the forecourt of the Mohegan Sun Box Office. Accepting the honor before a crowd of fans, Dunham stated, “It’s a great honor to be accepting this award. I started here in The Cabaret Theatre and now it’s my 4th year performing in the Arena, I want to thank Mohegan Sun and all of you folks here today”

His DVD sales have reached seven million units, his videos have received over half a billion views on You Tube, and his live concerts have become mega-events played in front of sold-out arenas worldwide. What: Stand-up comedian Jeff Dunham will be taking part in a special Walk of Fame ceremony outside the Mohegan Sun Box Office. Dunham will have a star placed alongside some of Mohegan Sun Arena’s most beloved talents, including Bon Jovi, KISS, Rod Stewart, Toby Keith, Taylor Swift and most recently Mötley Crüe. Jeff Dunham first performed in Mohegan Sun Arena in 2009 and already, this will be his 4th time returning to the Arena. He becomes the 26th entertainer inducted into Mohegan Sun’s Walk of Fame. Mohegan Sun executives will be on hand to honor Jeff as well.

IN DETAIL: Jeff Dunham takes the Mohegan Sun Arena stage later in the evening on Saturday, July 13th, but hours before then, the comedian will be inducted into Mohegan Sun’s Walk of Fame. The special induction ceremony will be held outside the main entrance of the Arena, near the Mohegan Sun Box Office.
The award seeks to recognize those individuals who have made significant contributions to the success of Mohegan Sun as the Northeast’s premier entertainment destination. All of the individuals inducted into the Mohegan Sun Walk of Fame will have their name engraved on a plaque that will be permanently placed at the entrance to Mohegan Sun Arena.
