Def Leppard has rescheduled the band’s previously postponed dates on their 2016 tour. Tickets purchased for the previously scheduled shows will be honored on the rescheduled dates. Mohegan Sun Arena’s new date will now be Sunday, May 15th for a 7:00pm concert. Special guests to include REO Speedwagon and Tesla!

Mohegan Sun Arena Welcomes Back One Of The Best Rock Bands Of All Time On August 11th
UNCASVILLE, CT (February 22, 2016) – As Tom Scholz wrote in the Rock anthem on the BOSTON album Don’t Look Back, “It’s a Party, Party, Party!” Indeed, the 40th anniversary BOSTON tour promises to be a celebration honoring the group’s loyal fans. Many of them have supported BOSTON since 1976 when the debut album, Boston first hit the airwaves and took Rock radio by storm, so it’s not surprising to see concert audiences that span generations. The tour heads to Mohegan Sun Arena for a Thursday, August 11th concert, set for 7:30pm!

2016 recipient of “Breakthrough Artist” award at Music Biz
UNCASVILLE, CT (February 8, 2016) – Halsey’s Madison Square Garden show on August 13th sold out within a matter of days, but the world’s favorite post-apocalyptic Pop disruptor didn’t want to leave anybody out. Announced recently was a full-scale North American headline tour this summer, concluding at the MSG gig. On this run, beginning July 6th in Orlando, FL, her show will transform arenas and amphitheaters into the delightful dystopia depicted within her full-length debut album, BADLANDS (Astralwerks). Mohegan Sun Arena is set to host Halsey for the first time on Thursday, August 4th for a 7:30pm concert.

Halsey kicked off the new year with the announcement that she would be the recipient of the “Breakthrough Artist Award” at Music Biz 2016 in Nashville, May 18th.
Critics continue to praise her live shows. Consequence of Sound wrote, “The lasting impression of the performance left her largely female audience lingering after the show, beaming in the newfound success of their hero, sure they had witnessed one of music’s biggest rising stars.” Rookie says “Halsey has a knack for bringing people together with her brutally honest and heartfelt music. In return, her fans make her live shows extra spectacular–screaming the lyrics to empowering songs. The majority of fans said that listening to her music had strengthened their friendships and inspired them to be themselves, without apologies.” Houston Press claimed, “Her lyrics are so confessional and yet she has this cool about her, as if she’s already a superstar and she’s waiting for the rest of the world to catch up to her. Def Leppard has postponed the band’s remaining dates on their Winter 2016 tour due to illness. All shows from February 2nd through February 17th, including Mohegan Sun Arena’s February 13th concert, will be rescheduled. The previously postponed dates in Greensboro, NC (January 27th) and Orlando, FL (January 30th) will also be rescheduled. Details on new dates will be announced soon. The two legendary music artists will take the stage together starting in New York City at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, April 13th with shows also lined up in Uncasville, Connecticut at Mohegan Sun Arena for a Friday, April 15th concert set for 7:00pm. The PPL Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania rounds out the series on April 16th.
