Superstar siblings plan all-new tour due to fan demand; Mohegan Sun Arena welcomes the dance pair back for two shows on July 12th
UNCASVILLE, CT (March 2, 2015) — On the heels of their sold out 2014 tour, superstar siblings Julianne and Derek Hough will team up once again, dancing their way across stages all over the country, in their new MOVE LIVE ON TOUR 2015. The pair stopped by Good Morning America to announce MOVE LIVE ON TOUR 2015 which will kick off on June 12th in Phoenix, AZ and hit over 40 cities including stops at the famed Radio City Music Hall in NYC, Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville and Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT for two shows on Sunday, July 12th, set for 3:00pm and 8:00pm.
Tickets are $39.50 and go on sale Friday, March 6th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. The Houghs are promising MOVE LIVE ON TOUR 2015 will be bigger and better than ever. “We had such a fun and high energy show last year. It was amazing to see such a great reaction from our fans the first time, and we can’t wait til they see what we have up our sleeves now! Our goal then, and our goal now is to have it feel like a Rock concert for dance and I think we have and certainly will accomplish that again,” said Julianne Hough.
“Our fans haven’t stopped asking when we would go back out on the road so we are excited to be able to tell them that because of their support and demand, we are headed out again to bring them a new and exciting show. We can’t wait to see everyone on the road,” added Derek Hough.
The show will feature a brand new stage production to showcase the fresh, exciting and high impact choreography spanning across a multitude of different dance styles that all audience members are sure to love! The Houghs will be joined by the Move Company Dancers in a fast paced show, featuring live vocal performances from both Julianne and Derek with incredible costumes and staging to complement.
JULIANNE HOUGH is known to audiences around the world for her success in film, television and music. She was a two-time professional champion on ABC’s top-rated Dancing with the Stars, before making a seamless transition to award-winning recording artist and her feature film debut in Burlesque. She starred in the update of Footloose and the all-star film adaptation of the musical, Rock of Ages. Hough also starred opposite Josh Duhamel in Nicholas Sparks’ Safe Haven, directed by Lasse Hallstrom and starred in Diablo Cody’s directorial debut, Paradise, opposite Russell Brand and Octavia Spencer. She thrilled fans when she returned full-time to the Dancing With the Stars ballroom as the fourth judge last fall and returns for the show’s highly-anticipated 20th season, premiering March 16th. Julianne’s upcoming film projects include a yet-untitled comedy opposite Robert De Niro and Zac Efron and she will fulfill her lifelong dream of playing the role of Sandy in a televised production of Grease, which will be broadcast live on FOX in January 2016. Julianne has also joined forces with the Kind Campaign to create and host Kind Camp, empowering and encouraging girls to be confident, beautiful women and to eradicate girl against girl bullying. DEREK HOUGH is an Emmy Award-winning choreographer and New York Times Bestselling author of Taking the Lead: Lessons from a Life in Motion. The only five-time champion in franchise history of Dancing with the Stars, Hough’s celebrity partners have included Brooke Burke, Ricki Lake, Nicole Scherzinger, Jennifer Grey, Kellie Pickler and Amber Riley, Hough’s innovative and daring choreography has garnered him a total of six Emmy Nominations. He starred in London’s West End production of Footloose in 2006. In 2013, he partnered with World Champion ice dancers Meryl Davis and Charlie White to
choreograph their short program for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, where the duo was awarded the gold medal after performing that routine, garnering record-setting scores and rave reviews. He is currently appearing in Season 20 of Dancing With the Stars with Olympic Gold medalist Nastia Liukin and is starring opposite Tony Award winning Laura Benanti in the New York Spring Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall in New York.

UNCASVILLE, CT (November 4, 2014) — Dancing with the Stars, ABC’s leading entertainment show, produced by BBC Worldwide Productions, is bringing a one-of-a-kind touring production to Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, January 9th for an 8:00pm show . The official 90-minute live show, DANCING WITH THE STARS: LIVE!, produced by Faculty Productions in association with BBC Worldwide, comes to Mohegan Sun showcasing some of the faces from the show you know and love.

Superstar siblings to tour North America in their own all-new dance production, including stop at Mohegan Sun Arena on June 22nd
Superstar siblings Julianne and Derek Hough will star in their own all-new dance production, Move Live On Tour, onstage across North America beginning May 28 through July, 2014. Move Live On Tour will be a complete stage production, with sets, costumes and a cast of talented dancers, with the Hough’s headlining in solo, duet and group performances in styles ranging from ballroom and tap to Salsa and Hip-Hop and everything in-between. The performance heads to Mohegan Sun for a Sunday, June 22nd show beginning at 7:30pm.

Manic Monday dance party in the Wolf Den begins in January
Mohegan Sun’s Wolf Den will be Southeastern Connecticut’s newest place to see and be seen on Monday nights when DJ Mike takes the stage to spin all your favorite classic hits. Beginning at 8:00pm on Monday, January 5th patrons will have the opportunity to get their week started right by cutting the rug on Monday nights in the Wolf Den. Admission to DJ in the Den is free, but all patrons must be 21 or over.
DJ Mike got his start as a DJ in 1992, about 1,600 gigs ago. He honed his skills in downtown Hartford at one of Connecticut’s largest and most successful nightclubs, The Brickyard. For over seven years he performed to crowds of over 600 people a night, and to over 6000 people at the annual outdoor Hartford Block Parties. With a vast music knowledge that is second to none, DJ Mike has amassed a song collection that spans from the 50’s to today’s current Top 40. But more importantly, knowing what to play for all generations and all settings is what has made him one of the most sought-after DJ’s in not only the areas top clubs, but at all the top banquet facilities in New England.
