UNCASVILLE, CT (April 11, 2025) – On Sunday, May 11th, Mohegan Sun will transform into the ultimate Mother’s Day destination as guests can celebrate mom with a choice between delicious brunches, a spa day, New England Craft Festival, or mouthwatering dining specials. And for those who can’t make it to the resort on Mother’s Day, Mohegan Sun’s gift card promotion ensures a very special day for mom in the future.
A yearly highlight at Mohegan Sun is the Premium and Classic Mother’s Day Brunches. This year moms are in for a treat as both brunches, taking place in the Uncas Ballroom, will be decked out with an elegant floral tea party theme. The Premium Brunch is set to take place from 10:00am – Noon on Mother’s Day while the Classic Brunch will follow from 1:30pm – 3:30pm. Tickets to both brunches are on sale now via Ticketmaster and the Mohegan Sun Box Office, subject to availability. Premium Mother’s Day Brunch attendees can enjoy chef-curated brunch specialties like pancakes, crispy bacon, jumbo shrimp with cocktail sauce, a prime rib carving station and a decadent dessert display while the Classic Mother’s Day Brunch offers a delightful spread of elevated brunch favorites like fluffy scrambled eggs, mini croissants and scones, pineapple glazed ham, decadent pastas and a tempting assortment of desserts. Both brunches will feature live music from Mass-Conn-Fusion, and a complimentary Mimosa, Bellini and Bloody Mary bar.
Beauty & Essex will also begin offering weekend brunch beginning Saturday, April 26th and feature delectable menu options including, but not limited to, Chicken n’ Biscuits, Rancheros, Shrimp & Grits, and Red Velvet Waffles. Reservations for Mother’s Day weekend open on Saturday, April 12th.
Over in the Earth Expo & Convention Center, the New England Spring Craft Festival is set to take place from 9:00am – 6:00pm on Saturday, May 10th and 9:00am – 5:00pm on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 11th. More than 250 local artisans will showcase one-of-a-kind treasures and handcrafted ceramics, in addition to an array of specialty food offerings, curated to enhance the springtime experience at this inaugural event. Pair the delicious meal with a Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Martini for $16, or half bottles of Moët & Chandon for $40 each. The Valentine’s Day Special at novelle is available from 5:00pm – 10:00pm on Thursday, February 8th through Saturday, February 10th and Thursday, February 15th through Saturday, February 17th. BALLO Italian Restaurant is also kicking off the holiday a little early with dining specials that run from Friday, February 9th through Thursday, February 15th. Specials include Frutti di Mare, made of house-cured salmon, braised octopus, Sicilian blood orange and Calabrian chili for $22, and a special Surf & Turf made with an 8-oz. filet mignon, burro bianco poached lobster and roasted asparagus for $72. For dessert, guests can enjoy strawberry & white chocolate cannoli for $12.
Over at Todd English’s Tuscany, guests can enjoy an Arugula Avocado Salad for $16, made with baby arugula, sliced avocado, halved grape heirloom tomatoes, pine nuts, Parmesan cheese and topped with a refreshing lemon vinaigrette. Specials also include Lobster Ravioli with black truffle cream, fried shallots and chives for $40, and Steak Frites, complete with a 10-oz. hanger steak, skin-on fries and hollandaise for $45.
Those looking for a lavish dining experience can look no further than Michael Jordan’s Steak House. Roasted Oysters with Parmesan breadcrumbs, black garlic truffle butter and pickled beets are available for $22, and the main course is Chateaubriand for Two, featuring 30-day butter-aged 22-oz. filet mignon paired with a truffled pomme puree and mushroom bordelaise for $130. Toast to the night with Vollereaux Brut champagne for two for $25.
Next door at MJ23 Sports Bar & Grill, guests can enjoy a classic surf & turf, complete with a 7-oz. filet mignon, a 6-oz. lobster tail, sweet mashed potatoes, green beans and a red wine sauce for $65. Dessert is a rich chocolate lava cake served with chocolate ice cream and caramelized raspberries for $15. Seal the meal with Cupid’s Kiss, a special Valentine’s Day cocktail made with Van Gogh vanilla vodka, strawberry purée, Mozart chocolate strawberry liqueur and a graham cracker rim for $16.
Sol Toro is also offering their delicious version of Surf & Turf, complete with a 10-oz. New York strip steak, shrimp enchilada and chipotle cream for $55. For dessert, guests can devour the Banana Chocolate Cake, an upside-down banana cake, topped with vanilla ice cream and bourbon caramel for $13. The Valentine’s Day cocktail at Sol Toro is the Apasionado del Corazón, made with Corazón Blanco, Passoã (passionfruit liquor), fresh lime juice and agave for $16.
Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House is serving up their special Marry Me Chicken – sautéed chicken in a sun-dried tomato cream sauce with spinach, bell peppers, Parmesan cheese and fresh basil over a bed of spaghetti for $26. Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House’s version of Surf & Turf includes a 14-oz. New York strip steak topped with chimichurri sauce, a 6-oz. lobster tail, roasted potatoes and Brussels sprouts for $70. Dessert is Fried Ice Cream consisting of deep-fried ice cream coated in Corn Flakes, topped with strawberry compote, chocolate rings and whipped cream for $12.
A prix fixe dinner for two at Jasper White’s Summer Shack is $100 and starts with the choice of a shareable appetizer. Options include Cocktail Shrimp, Mussels with white wine, garlic and herbs, Rhode Island Style Calamari served with cherry peppers and garlic butter, or Sesame Crusted Tuna served with daikon radish and bang bang sauce. Next up is a choice of either a mixed green salad with house vinaigrette or a cup of chowder. For the entrée, options include Shack Baked Stuffed Shrimp served with lobster sauce and white rice, Grilled Tenderloin Steak Tip Frites topped with garlic butter and served with fries, Grilled Salmon with a side of roasted herb potatoes, grilled asparagus and beurre blanc, and Herb Roasted Chicken with mashed potatoes, broccoli and gravy. Mohegan Sun also set to offer Black Friday and Cyber Monday Hotel Flash Sales
UNCASVILLE, CT (November 3, 2023) – It’s that time of the year again; Thanksgiving arrives on Thursday, November 23rd and so do the mouthwatering dining specials at Mohegan Sun. Guests can enjoy a special meal on Thanksgiving at Michael Jordan’s Steak House, TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge, Todd English’s Tuscany and more. Additionally, Mohegan Sun will be offering Black Friday and Cyber Monday Hotel Flash Sales where guests can secure up to 50% off their stay!
TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge will be open from Noon – 7:00pm and will feature Roasted Duck Dumplings made with Szechuan garlic gravy, spiced fig and plum chutney for $25.
Over at Todd English’s Tuscany, guests can enjoy a special Thanksgiving prix fixe menu for $50. For the first course, guests will enjoy wood-roasted pear and gorgonzola salad, candied walnuts, pomegranate reduction, arugula and balsamic vinaigrette. The main course features sage-brined turkey, sausage potato stuffing, roasted root vegetables, a sweet potato topped with pecan crumble, and bacon Dijon Brussels. Last but not least, pecan bread pudding with vanilla gelato will be the featured dessert.
From 4:00pm – 9:00pm on Thanksgiving Day and Noon – 9:00pm on Sunday, November 26th, BALLO Italian Restaurant will feature a Beef Tartare appetizer for $24 which consists of hand-cut filet mignon, lemon, garlic, fresh-shaved black truffle and Parmesan-Reggiano crisp. Baked Clams Oreganata ($18) will also be offered as an appetizer and is made with Littleneck clams, lemon, garlic, oregano herb butter and toasted breadcrumbs. For an entrée, guests can enjoy Pappardelle and Confit Duck Ragu served with cremini mushrooms, roasted garlic and gorgonzola brûlée figs for $45.
Michael Jordan’s Steak House is set to be open from 3:00pm – 8:00pm and will offer a special three-course meal for guests to indulge in. Squash Empanadas, consisting of Kabocha squash, goat cheese and cilantro-mint sauce, will be the featured appetizer for $15. For the main course, guests can enjoy a Classic Turkey Dinner for $34 which includes slow-roasted turkey, haricot verts, stuffing, gravy, red bliss mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce. For dessert, Apple Crisp will be served with maple bourbon ice cream for $14. Right next door, MJ23 Sports Bar & Grill will be open from Noon to 8:00pm and will also feature the Classic Turkey Dinner for $34. Before the turkey dinner, guests can enjoy Cauliflower Cheddar Soup served with aged cheddar croutons for $12. To finish off a great meal, MJ23 Sports Bar & Grill will offer Pumpkin Chocolate Pie for $14 which is made with milk chocolate ganache and cocoa crust.

Available for a limited time at Frank Pepe’s Napolitano Pizzeria, guests can celebrate Thanksgiving with the hearty Patata Rustica, a brand-new pizza creation that debuts as this fall’s seasonal special at Frank Pepe’s. The Patata Rustica combines the rich flavors of whole-milk mozzarella cheese, seasoned potatoes, savory bacon, asiago cheese, a sprinkle of grated Pecorino Romano and a drizzle of olive oil, all on Frank Pepe’s iconic dough.
From Friday, November 24th through Monday, November 27th, Mohegan Sun will roll out the Black Friday Hotel Flash Sale, which will give guests an opportunity to receive 25% off a one-night stay or 40% off a two-night stay, redeemable through Wednesday, January 31st.
