Mohegan Sun is pleased to announce the return of, Forever Young Mondays, the promotion that turns back the clock. Beginning January 4th, guests sixty years of age or older will enjoy a variety of free gifts, mid-day entertainment, slot tournaments, two-for-one buffets and  dining & shopping specials as part of Mohegan Sun’s Forever Young Mondays. 

One-of-a-Kind Giveaways

Don’t miss Mohegan Sun’s free gift giveaways. Each Monday starting at 9:00am, the first 3,000 guests over sixty with a Player’s Club card will receive a free gift (the gift varies each week) by visiting the Summer Coat Check located in Casino of the Earth.

Discounted Dining

Rise and shine to Dunkin’ Donuts with a free doughnut with the purchase of any medium coffee.  Guests sixty years or older can stop by Jasper White’s Summer Shack Express and enjoy a Fried Fish Sandwich, a cup of Clam Chowder and soft drink for $15.00 (includes tax).
As if that isn’t enough, a delightful serving of infinite proportions will be offered at SolToro Tequila Grill with a special $19.95 Infinita Fajita which includes endless Chicken, Steak or Shrimp Fajitas.
Lunch and dinner is a lay-up at Geno’s Fast Break and Michael Jordan’s .23 sportcafe, as when you buy one entrée, you get another at half price. And over at Seasons and Sunburst Buffets, guests sixty-plus can enjoy two-for-one specials. Other dining specials include pocket friendly discounts at Big Bubba’s BBQ  where guests will receive 20% off their entire check (from Noon to 10:00pm). The savings don’t end at the dining tables. At The Shops at Mohegan Sun, various stores are offering discounts including 20% off any autographed item at America’s Memories, 20% off entire purchase at The Old Farmer’s Almanac General Store a 10% discount at Margaritaville’s Smuggler’s Hold and 10% off all men’s and women’s clothing at The Golf Shop.
Over at Spin Street, guests will get 10% off all books.  Additional specials include a free small baby jar free with a purchase of a large regular-priced Housewarmer jar at Yankee Candle. Free Entertainment and Mid-Day Performances

Mohegan Sun’s Wolf Den lineup will be jam-packed with timeless acts including two special performances on select Mondays at 12:00pm to 12:45pm and 1:15pm to 2:00pm.
On January 4th, The Glamour Girls will play a wide selection of 50s through 70s hits. Additionally, Dietician and Lifestyle Expert, Mary Ann Nash, will be speaking on ways to achieve a healthy lifestyle following The Glamour Girls’ performance at 2:30pm.
Phil Dirt & The Dozers will pay homage to the 50s and 60s Rock and Roll era on January 11th. The Daddio’s will take the stage to play various 40s through 70s hits on January 18th. Rick K. and The Allnighters will perform their renditions of the 50s through the 70s on February 1st. Continuing the 50s and 70s sound will be The Main Street Cruisers on February 8th.
The Wolf Den plays host to “Bravo’s Millionaire Matchmaker” Patti Stanger on February 15th at 1:00pm, as she hosts a special Singles’ Boot Camp. Attendees will receive priceless tips and tricks on finding and keeping the perfect mate. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Strike it Rich with Guaranteed Slot Tournaments

The action heats up with $5,000 Slot Tournaments-Minimum-Guaranteed on January 25th and February 22nd. Registration for the $10.00 buy-in slot tournaments will be held on the day of each tournament from 8:00am to 4:00pm across from Birches Bar & Grill in Casino of the Earth. Tournaments will be filled on a first come, first-served basis.

Mohegan Sun voted the best venue in Connecticut to see a Latin show
Mohegan Sun is pleased to be voted the best venue in Connecticut for Latin shows by Telemundo Hartford and Springfield affiliates owned by the ZGS Broadcasting Group.  For three weeks in October, viewers of these television channels were prompted with a 15-second promo to vote online for their favorite venue.  Voters chose their favorite venue for a Latin show from six different selections. Mohegan Sun was the clear favorite, capturing 50% of all votes.
Some of the top artists in the Latin genre, from Don Omar and Aventura to Latin Grammy winners Luis Fonsi, Juanes and Marc Anthony have graced the Mohegan Sun Arena stage.  Over the past five years, the Arena has hosted nearly thirty Latin shows and entertained over 100,000 Latin music fans.  Upcoming Latin shows include Aventura on Saturday, January 30, 2010, Mohegan Sun favorite Latin Freestyle on Saturday, April 17, 2010 and Los Mejor De Los 90’s on Saturday, May 8, 2010.

Black Eyed Peas Set To Rock Mohegan Sun

Three-time Grammy Award winning group Black Eyed Peas are hitting the road in 2010 in support of their latest studio effort, the multi-platinum #1 album The E.N.D.  This show is part of The E.N.D. World Tour 2010 which is described as the ultimate Black Eyed Peas party experience, with the most ambitious stage production to date.  The group will be performing live at Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, February 27th at 7:30pm.
